    August Wi-Fi connect bridge has an incredibly short range Bluetooth. I can touch the August connect bridge with one hand and touch my August lock with the other hand and it has poor reception according to the app.

    I bought this to try and take advantage of unlocking the door remotely using Alexa and my iPhone. The device was rarely able to reliably connect to the August lock, so I returned it. I have a lot of home automation devices in my house that I use. This did not cut the mustard. The only reason I didn't give it one star, is because it would occasionally work.

    Very bad design. Not to happy with it. It takes forever to send a command to unlock or lock the door on wifi or 3g/4g network. Not to happy with this product. I place all August connects next to the August lock and it is close to wifi. Just a bad product. Super disappointed with it.

    This product must be in direct line of site to the front door or it won’t work. No where in the instructions or on the box does it state that. Worst product ever.
