If you have an august smart lock you have to get this add on. It makes your lock more versatile and your able to view your lock details abroad. Open and close your lock from anywhere in the world as long as you have internet access and your home WiFi is up.

It’s good to be connected to your smart home but I think the locks should already have this option in them. This needs to be within 10feet of your lock or doesn’t work correctly, if you have multiple locks your going to need more hubs like this one.

This device works great with little configuration to make it work. Although expensive, it does offer piece of mind knowing that your door is locked when you are away.

The concept of this product is awesome, but it leaves a little to be desired. Many times I have come home and the device doesn’t recognize that I’m home. I then attempt to connect via the bridge and it is hit or miss on whether it works. But you essentially have to have this in order to connect remotely.

Installed and functioning in a reasonable amount of time, so far so good!

I’d say it’s a nessary item if you really want full control of your smart lock. Downside is the price feels a bit unreasonably for what it does. The item tends to go on sale so I’d avoid paying full price for it if you’re not a rush to buy.

This wifi bridge is super easy to use, just plug in, sync up with your device and, voila! We’ve used it for our smart lock for years and we just love it! Does seem to need to be reset often though. Not so fun.

This is a must! If you own the August smart lock, it’s definitely worth the investment. Adding the hub enables true smart home integration. It also allows you to monitor, lock/unlock your door from anywhere you have an internet connection.

So the August system is ok. This piece of equipment needs to extended its length of service. I placed it a total of 5 feet away around the corner from the front door and it read poor signal. I have to move it literally 1 ft from door to get green all good signal. On my back door it’s 3 ft and just stays red asking to be closer. Essentially if it doesn’t touch the handle it’s bad signal. It still works in the red. Another thing is unless your doors are perfectly settled remotes not that effective because on my doors they aren’t perfectly flush. So it will not lock or unlock unless your pulling the handle toward you. Hopefully I can get that fixe d

It took some tinkering to set it up. I read the previous reviews and they are true. I live in a condo and I thought it would be okay but the WiFi signal needed to be stronger so I had to change the location of the router and modem. Otherwise it works for the most part. Sometimes it is wonky.

The WiFi connector for the August smart lock works as intended. You can monitor and open/close the lock from outside the bounds of Bluetooth. However, the response time is a little slow for updating the lock status and this can be frustrating.

The WiFi Bridge is really a requirement to make the August Smart lock work it's best. I do wish it had a little bit longer of a range though. If you don't have an outlet close to your door you may be out of luck.

Allows us to unlock door from anywhere. Truly a great product. Just sucks you have to buy this in addition to the deadbolt lock

I purchased this along with my August Lock. I want to be able to control my lock outside of bluetooth range. It connected to my home wifi without any issues and works flawlessly. I think it is a must have companion.

Plugged it in had it working in under 3 minutes. Pleased.

If you want to unlock the August Lock when you are not at home, you need to get the August Connect. Setup to two tries to get it right. Needs to be close to August Lock to work reliably. Once setup, it is easy to use.

Love that the lock will unlock as soon as I arrive home

Bought this & installed it with a breeze. Took me only about 15 minutes or so. I havent had any issues & it works 99% of the time.
