Works well. Bought this as a additional piece to make the smart lock accessible via Wi-Fi. Easy to set up and works well

This device is overpriced. It does the job what it was made for, but app is a little slow in response and sometimes giving you connection error until you repeat the request. Price is the downside.

I bought this to remotely lock my door via the App. Product setup was easy and product works as intended.

I recently bought a Homekit enabled August and wanted to see how it integrated with services like IFTTT. It’s hard to find answers about this but you have to get a connect for it to integrate.

It took me a while to figure out that it only connects to 2Ghz networks. After I enabled my 2Ghz network at home, it was easy to configure it. I can open the door remotely now. Happy with the product.

Installed (essentially plug and play) this adapter after installing August locks. Since this is a Bluetooth accessory, the outlet which you plug into needs to be fairly close to both your August lock(s) as well as within wifi range of your wireless router. I kept getting install failure messages until I eventually found an acceptable sweet-spot between electrical outlet distance between the August locks (I have two) and my wireless router. Currently works great!

I have weak gbs so i used this instead of the doorbell to power the lock. Either will work fine, I have both :)

I really liked my august lock so I decided to buy the August connect so that I could ensure my door was locked throughout the day and also let guests enter an exit in a timely and unobtrusive manner. The August Connect lets me do this but is very very slow to connect too. In the app you have to click the remote connect button and then wait around 20-30 seconds for the connect to "connect" with the August lock. Also the connect is only 1 foot away from the lock and around 5 feet away from my router. Overall, it is a reliable product but pretty slow.

If you want your lock to work with Alexa, then you have to buy this hub. The lock is big enough in my opinion that you shouldn't need this hub which make the lock too expensive.

Work perfectly with my August lock. This give me access to my lock anywhere in the world.

The wifi extender adapter for the August smart lock is a great add on. It is very reliable and gives the user the ability to access the lock from other locations besides their home.

The product works OK but is necessary if you have an August lock . It really sucks that they don't tell you upfront that you need this add on in order to control your house remotely. As far as the product goes it does lose connectivity from time to time which doesn't make it 100% reliable but it does work most of the time and it's nice to have. I also don't like that the apps makes you click on a separate button to access the lock via Wi-Fi but this is just a feature of the app which can be fixed with an update .

This is ideal if remote access to the smart lock is needed. Keep in mind the august connect must be in the line of sight of the lock or you will get a poor signal.

I needed this to unleash the full capabilities of my lock but this makes the lock and this accessory over $325 and for that price I can’t give it five stars.

Apple TV works much better than this device for remote integration. I did not like that I had to hit an additional button to connect while far from Bluetooth range. I was expecting a lot smoother integration.

This is a great accessory for August locks. It is largely reliable (occasionally it will not work but rarely). I just wish it was included with the locks.

It was a little difficult to get it connected to my WiFi (the first couple of tries it would just hang at "Connecting..." forever, even though it's in the same room as my router), but that's it. I like it! Beware that as far as I can tell, August's iPhone app will NOT allow you to connect to your lock over the internet -- on Android, in the top right, there's a little WiFi logo/bubble to tap to switch to internet instead of Bluetooth connectivity, but this was absent on my friends' iPhones which I invited to access the lock. I couldn't find a way for them to connect without being within Bluetooth range. Oh well!

I bought the August Smart Lock recently and then realized I needed the August Connect to control when I'm away from home. This device is a great add-on and was pretty easy to connect to the smart lock. I did have to place it very close to the lock initially (within 5 feet) but was able to move it further away afterwards (about 10 feet).
