I got the bridge to open my front door security gate with Alexa. Very easy to setup works perfectly with Alexa and the app on your phone. To check if your door is locked just ask Alexa and she will tell you the front door is locked. I’m planning to buy 2 more August locks to open n lock my 2 side gates leading to the backyard. I hope you found this review helpful.

Auto-unlock arrival: first month=90% success, after=10% success Remote Connect: 90% success - this is mainly for guests. I would look at this as a luxury item but not to be relied on. One time, this did not work, but it was a very inconvenient time for this to not work. I have an advanced asus router and fios in fair lakes. The bridge is in the outlet five feet in front of the door lock, no wall interference. I have it there as an emergency, but I still use my key to lock and unlock my door every day. Guest user in app is also very convenient.

This was a required Hub for the August deadbolt. It works as described, requiring only to be plugged into an outlet and setup to work.

I got this unit because the signal between the doorbell and the lock was too weak. I've already spent around $500 on August stuff so was a bit annoyed I needed to buy this to make the connections reliable. That said, it does the job. It feels very cheap though, gets warm and makes a constant high pitch noise when plugged in. The tone changes when the LED lights up.

If you get the August door lock, this WiFi adapter is a must have. It allows you to use the door lock with Alexa and lock/unlock from anywhere.

In order to make my August deadbolt lock to work wirelessly, I needed this product. Without this box you'll only be able to use the lock with Bluetooth.

A must have addition to the August smart lock if you want to check on the lock when away from home. If you are buying the lock this is a must have.

Great product for my smart home, easy setup, easy use

I felt that this device could have been combined with the lock, could not justify paying for a second device just to have remote connectivity, but had to go for this anyways since there was no other option. All in all the combo is expensive and this device has connectivity issues with the lock and can only be installed close to the lock.

This lock has been a saving grace!! It is so awesome to be able to unlock the door with just your phone never needing your key!!

As long as you have good cell reception it works pretty decent, but it is kind of slow. The convenience is definitely worth it though.

This works well, but really has to be close to the main august unit for it to work well. the range is less than 10 feeet

This is an awesome pieace Device to include with the Smart August doors. Highly recommendable smart ambient device!

The product connected to the internet without a problem and the interface is very easy to use. However we replaced the lock with our old one that has a built in keypad with instant lock or unlock. We added this with the remote keypad and did not like the keypad because it is too thick and has a delay in locking and unlocking lock.

This item works well, it's small and easy to install

August lock will have no meaning with out this device. it enables you to manage lock via internet. Easy to install this device.

Allows remote access anywhere! Drops very seldom, but overall it works perfectly with the August Lock. Love it!

The bridge works well and gives us remote access and viability on things like when our cat sitter comes and goes when we are on vacation. The biggest issue I had with it was that during setup, it kept throwing up errors about weak Bluetooth connectivity, despite the lock and Connect being almost right next to each other. The connection has been working well despite the warnings, but the warnings could be troubling for less technically inclined customers.
