I’ve had this lock now for about a month. It works great. The app is responsive when not connected to home network. Locking/unlocking is quick from the app. Away mode is a great feature that unlocks the door when you arrive home. This feature works quicker some times vs other times. Overall a great product.

I bought this lock because I recently got a car with a push-button start and I didn't want to dig my keys out of my purse anymore. This lock works very well with the app and with Google Assistant. It was easy for me to install. It is a fair bit bigger than a regular deadbolt and is tight to my doorknob, but still workable. My only complaint is that it can take a long time to automatically unlock when I return home. Usually I have to stand at the door for 5-10 seconds before the unlock sequence is complete. However, even with that, it works as I had hoped.

Installed on door and was easy to install. Simple to operate and works using same App as my Yale lock.

Better than the Nets x Yale locks when it comes to automation capabilities and remote control. Battery dies extremely fast and those are costly.

Great door lock. Was very skeptical about it at first because I liked having a keypad before but this works really well!

Easy to install and operate. New version does not require the wireless bridge which is nice. Great for people with limited mobility.

Firstly, I'm biased. I LOVE the concept of smart things because it makes our lives easier. The August lock working with HomeKit is awesome; I'm able to set automations (which still prompts whether you would like to run it or not), can check status of lock, can open lock with phone not voice. What I find to be most useful is auto-lock and auto-unlock; with door sense installed, the lock 'knows' when your door is closed or not so it can lock (or not lock) depending on the door status.

Smaller than the previous version and new finish. I work in IT and this is the best and user friendlier smart locker in the market

This is great absolutely worth its weight in gold. Locked myself out a few times before, now it can be opened by phoning a friend. Its great.

The August-Wi-Fi Smart Lock (4th Gen)- Matte Black smart deadbolt lock is average no frills. The main difference is that it can be connected to your smart phone, but you can open the door with the key. This product is average.

Amazing lock! Locks when I come and go and really helps me keep the house secure. Doesn’t show from the outside making this very low profile

This ,u second August lock. I like this one even better as it is smaller. App works great.

It’s super convenient coming home and the door unlocks automatically, especially when you get home late and the porch light is off.

August wi-fi smart lock was great pick up for me and I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a smart lock.
