prob the best lock

Homekit integration is not so good!

I jumped in immediately when the 4th gen was announced. Hardware installation was super easy and everything works well except the HomeKit integration. 90% of time hey siri or home app fails with a message "Did not hear back from the August device". August app works all the time but I think using a physical key will be much faster than using the app to lock/unlock every time. I will easily give a five star when the HomeKit issue is fixed. I am very happy with other features like auto lock and notifications.

Intelligent smart lock with August smart sense

I have set this lock with Autolock function, that locks the door after 5 minutes. With August smart sense, the lock decides whether the door is open or closed, before locking it. The lock opens when I’m approaching the house, so that I don’t need to take the phone out of my pocket to unlock it.
