It disconnects way too often. They decided to use a weird A123 battery that is basically impossible to find re-chargable batteries for. I would highly suggest getting the older model that takes standard AA batteries. They should stick switch back to AA.

Works fine. A little work to put in. Also set could be more user friendly in terms of promoting setup

Purchased this as an upgrade from my gen 2 August lock. This operates faster, smoother and is far less glitchy (so far no random low battery alerts) than the previous generation lock I owned.

I’ve been looking for a WiFi lock that did not require a bridge and the August smart lock is perfect. Being able to control the lock via Bluetooth or WiFi is a great feature. This lock is amazing!

Love this. Jams very occasionally and glitches out when we both try to unlock it at the same time but these aren't issues I expect are normal. Would highly recommend this lock

Wonderful convience & has been working great so far. It was missing the instructions on the installation portion but I figured it out.

I could be anymore pleased. This helps me monitor my kids when I’m at work. I know when they leave for school and when they come home. Gives me a great sense of peace.

High-quality product, works well. Allows you to keep your current deadbolt. I'd say it is overpriced though. Permanent installation of door sensor requires a counterbore drill bit and drilling into your door frame.

Great smart lock, just need to improve the auto unlock functionality.

Great locking system, but it becomes perfect with the smart Keypad, otherwise you will have a high risk of being locked out, since the system will lock your door as soon as you close it.

Remotely lock or unlock the door, check door status, grant virtual guest keys, and see who is coming and going. Or use your favorite voice assistant to control your door.

Not even a year and it completely stopped working, change batteries and everything and it’s dead as a door nail. We are so frustrated. My son bought one and his is still irking great…

Overall happy with the product, though I bought a separate connect as it doesn't seem to stay connected to wifi and I also had trouble keeping in connected with HomeKit. Still have some issues from time to time. Seems to work better with the august app. HomeKit reliability is spotty.

Smart lock is exceptional, very sleek and minimal, very easy to setup app design is simple and works well with home integrations

I brought this expense lock because I wanted a lock that would recognize me as I walked to the door. So I wouldn't have to fumble for keys. Now I fumble for a phone... This lock has wifi and Bluetooth and still doesn't recognize me. I'm very disappointed and feel cheated.

I love this when it works. I use the geofencing which is awesome. Unfortunately sometimes it says it is disconnected from the network (not the internet, I stream with no issues) and other times it says it is jammed and one time it kept locking and unlocking and I had to manually unlock and lock a couple of times to get it to stop.

Good smart lock but bulky and has some Bluetooth connection issues.

Useful when I go on runs, I can just take my Apple Watch and AirPods and leave my keys and phone at home so that I carry nothing in my pockets because I can unlock the door with my watch.

This lock is great becuase you don't have to change out your door hardware. It is very responsive when you get home. It unlocks before I get to the door.
