East to install, works great! Works with Alex, and Google home

Purchased for our rental property and it was a nightmare to get calibrated, batteries lasted for about a month (we only successfully used it a handful of times during a trial period before they died), and the software is absolutely terrible. Nonstop issues - save yourself the trouble unless you want a $300 paperweight.

Easy to setup and install works with most deadbolts and can control from anywhere

With built in wifi and door sense this is definitely worth the upgrade. The sleeker design is also welcome. Upgraded my previous August lock that ive had since 2017 i think

Very nice lock. Easy to install and use. Nice App. The install went wrong for me so I had to call customer support for a reset code, but it worked. The included batteries lasted less than 6 months. I've tried two other smart locks (level did not fit in my door) and some Schlage which was absolute garbage. Works easily with alexa and my wifi

Just purchased this smart lock to replace my first generation August lock. So far it seems to be a great improvement over the older model. The lock mechanism itself is considerably smaller. One of the big negatives of the old lock was the poor battery life. This model changes from four AAA batteries to two CR123 batteries. Hoping this change results in an increased time between battery changes.

Lock is great overall but keypad can be improved. Also, autounlock not always works.

I previously owned the second generation August Lock which worked well. The current model has been improved in many ways. The bridge which connects the lock to wifi is no longer needed, the response time is better as well. Very happy with the upgrade.

this lock is awesome. It works perfectly, and was easy to install. I also have it hooked into my Alexa. I used the bluetooth and GPS lock/unlock so I can always be sure it is locked when needs to be, and coming home is hands free. They keypad is a great option for the kids, so we don't have to worry about them losing keys.

This is a great lock. It connects directly to the Wifi without a bridge. The app also makes it easy to give people a code for their use to get into the house.

Somewhat confusing to install, a couple features I need to get used to, but overall a great choice!

I absolutely love this lock! It was easy to install and the online installation guide was the best. Pairing the keypad was quick and easy. Adding to Apple HomeKit was smooth and is extremely responsive.

Online door lock install/step by step set up...was impressive! However, had a difficult time getting lock to set up interaction with my android phone August phone representative was great!...he was supportive....took quite alot of time to get things working properly...but got me set up and running. Set up still not done, gasket around my door has door not seating properly. ..may need to remove, so door shuts properly and deadbolt aligns for proper door lock engagement
