My experience with it has not been good so far. I can not get it linked up to my home kit and for some reason when I return home and unlock it it keeps wanting to turn open by itself and will not stop u til I hold it then it stops. Other wise it would keep trying to do whatever it is doing. A mind of its own! That’s annoying!

The lock itself is great looking, easy to install and works well. App is pretty neat. Homekit compatibility is useless as it always shows no response. Low Battery notification get sent every day when it gets to 20% or below with no option to unsubscribe - the lock still works at least 20 days after is gets below 20%.

Easy app setup, easy hardware install. Then box it back up and take it back. Try to use a key to manually open the door? Plan on having to hold the key in the unlocked position and open the door with your other hand. The lock turns with a key but then auto relocks itself if you letgo. It's a fun annoying game.After that, plan on fiddling with the lock to get the warning sound to stop...better yet, remove the lock batteries, reset, reinstall batteries, go thru the easy app setup. Then remove the lock from your door, reinstall your old deadbolt, get your receipt, go to the store and get your money back.

Great Wi-Fi smart lock with keypad. Need to have keypad for convenience. It locks and unlocks automatically according to your location. Takes less than 20 minutes to install to your existing lock.

I bought this for my Airbnbs. If you link iy to a jervis system or something it auto sends codes to newly arriving guest and swaps codes for you. You can also program multiple codes for cleaning or family members and such. Highly recommend

Had to return mine. Easy to setup , quality and build is great but sometimes it would be so slow . I have great connection and fast wifi I also tried just on cell same results. Couldn't figure out why some days it would work as advertised and others it would take minutes to open or close.

My landlord didn’t want me to install a new deadbolt (that required a new key). This is the perfect solution!

We had the older model that didn’t work very well on our Eero 5 ghz WiFi network. This newer model works flawlessly

Been using the lock consistently for about 2 weeks, I rarely carry a key any more and it has been so easy to use my phone or other smart things to unlock the door hands free. I also love that the lock remains available as a completely manual lock (and looks like such from outside) so I don’t have to worry about batteries dying or loss of Wi-Fi and being locked out. I did have to adjust my door fittings to get a good clearance for the deadbolt.

Awesome smart lock, so many features! I give temporary access to contractors, dog walkers, etc. Also the auto-lock and unlock is quite handy when your hands are full!

This was the perfect smart lock for our new home. the auto lock/unlock feature is great for being able to get into our home hands free. quick and easy install!!

I am happy with my August lock. The feature of auto unlock is a plus that helps me not have to fumble for my keys when I return home. There are minimal times when this feature may require me to use the app, but when it works....it works! The one thing that is disappointing is the battery life. The batteries don't last long so that can be an additional expense some will find a drawback. Customer service is GREAT. The representatives are patient if you have a problem and walk you through resolving whatever issue you may have.

I will not trust another lock. August has set the bar for security and comfort.

Verybeasy install..it replaces the deadbolt on inside of door. Battery life is decent.. everything you need is inside.

I loved it so much I bought one for back door too. I was able to give each kid their own pass code. Now the kids can’t lock themselves out. Well not as easily. Love how I can track who comes and goes from the house and at what time. These combined with security cameras let me know when someone is trying to sneak in back door.

I've purchased one of these items for my previous home and it was great. However, I was able to use this one because it didn't work for my door otherwise I would've given it a better rating.
