This frame is amazing. I have been wanting a digital frame for a while, but none seemed to have everything I wanted and most importantly, all had picture limits well below my 18,000+ picture collection. This frame uses cloud storage via WiFi and as of this posting, storage is unlimited and free. I have nearly 19,000 pictures uploaded and am seeing pictures I haven’t seen for years. Getting started was a breeze. I set it up using the Aura app on my iPad. The app will walk you through creating an Aura account (required since storage is cloud based). Then the app first connects to the frame using Bluetooth. By doing so, you are then able to add it to your WiFi network in the app. I assume after it is connected to WiFi, controlling it is through WiFi rather than Bluetooth. You are asked if you are setting the frame up for a gift (more on that later) or for your own use. You name the frame and various other setup items. I immediately uploaded some photos from my iPad through the app and they showed up on the frame in seconds. You can add photos and albums, although I don’t see much advantage to albums as there is no mechanism for manipulating them once uploaded to the frame. The frame shows photos randomly (or chronological) from all photos and frames/folders uploaded. I used the web browser (Chrome) link to upload the vast majority of my photos from my computer directory to the frame. This went surprisingly fast. You can browse or drag and drop. I uploaded ~18,000 photos in well under an hour. Obviously this is going to depend a great deal on your internet upload speed. I believe that albums/folders are only uploaded through the app as there is no evidence of folders in the frame from the computer even though I dragged folders to upload. However, again, I really don’t care about folders or albums. There are multiple frame settings in the app, such as the timing of the transitions, the order (shuffle or chronological), and when the frame is on. It can be set to turn on when the room is lit and off when dark (actually dim) or you can manually set it to turn on and off at specific times everyday. The frame will also display 30 second videos (it automatically trims longer ones to 30 seconds). You can choose whether it automatically plays videos or not. Another cool feature is intelligent pairing which can be turned on and off. This means that it will randomly pair two portrait oriented photos side by side and view them at the same time. You can also use the app as a remote control of the frame. The frame has a Touch Bar on top that serves multiple functions. Swipe left or right to move forward or backwards through photos. Tap once to display information about the photo or twice to love photo (see below). Tap and hold brings up a small menu that allows you to turn the frame on and off, among other things. However, for full control you really need to use the app. Finally, because the frame is WiFi you can invite others to share photos and they can upload them remotely. Anyone invited to the frame can send reactions and comments for photos that will appear in the app. This makes the frame ideal as a gift for others. Set it up as such in the beginning and you invite yourself and others. Once the frame is gifted and connected to WiFi, you can upload pictures, react, comment, and more remotely. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with this frame and would very highly recommend it.

This is the best gift I have given myself in years! My daughter uploads pictures of the grandbabies to the app and I am treated new pics every few days. So precious since they live 3000 miles away!

Easy to set up and lots of fun to have family members sent their pictures to our frame. So easy and I find myself starting at it for quite awhile. The 10.1" frame size was perfect.

It’s a nice frame that does what it is supposed to. Would be nice if it was touch screen. But the way you can just upload photos to the frame Via the app is the best feature.

Bought for my mother in law, as my mother has a frame and loves it. Easy set up and send invitations to family members to be able to add their photos. Image quality is fantastic.

Nice to share with friends and family, but don’t like how others can see all photos if it’s shared with multiple people.

Frame is amazing! One of our favorite purchases!! The app needs work. When you add pictures it takes sometimes weeks to load them and it would display the same pics over and over for a couple days.
