It is much quieter than by previous shedder. It is fast, quiet and really cuts things up very small. I have even put small cardboard packaging items thru it without any issues.
I would recommend this to a friend

Good Little Shredder

This is a very good microcut shredder. It runs quietly, sets up quickly, and handles discs and credit cards well. The only downside i have experienced is replacing the bin after emptying it. You can easily misalign the bin on the track resulting in an improper fit. I've had shredders that allowed me to jam it on quickly without issue.
