-Drone footage amazing -Handling and ease of use even better Used for about a week when something went wrong during a flight causing me to crash. Emailed Autel and they were friendly, helpful and sent me an RMA and a shipping label to send my drone and controller to them. The entire crash covered by mfg warranty (not G Squad, save your money) no cost out of my pocket. My rebuilt drone is currently intransit back to me. I promise you will never get that service with DJI. I was up and down between the Mavic and EVo, glad I picked the Autel Evo over the DJI Mavic!!!!!

This was the first time I bought a Drone and it is fun. This Drone is not cheap but it's worth the price. I was very surprised how easy it is to use. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to learn how to fly it. If you mess up hit home button and the Drone comes back automatically that's really nice. I truly recommend this Drone.

4k 60 fps camera takes amazing pics and video. Drone flies stable and easy to control. Autel Evo is a great model!

As a first time drone pilot, the EVO was easy to control. Very stable and amazing video capabilities.

Before I bought this Autel Evo, I did a lot of research to make sure I was getting what i wanted. I was going to get the DJI Mavic 2 Zoom as i really wanted a zoom feature, but the forced no fly zones and geofencing was really turning me off. I heard Autel doesn't force either so started reading about the Evo and watching reviews. It turned out to more than hold its own feature for feature with the DJI, but it has a MUCH better remote with a built in OLED screen so you can fly without your smart phone if needed, and no geofencing! In other words- you OWN the Evo, unlike the DJIs where it's more of a partnership- you have the drone but DJI says when and where you can fly it. Forget that! Oh yeah, the Evo has 8X zoom, the DJI Mavic 2 Zoom has 2X! Im more than happy with my Evo, I absolutely love it! There will always be those DJI fanboys who wont listen to anything other than DJI, oh well, their loss. I like being part of an exclusive group, btw- adults only- no geofence and no NFZs means YOU have to be responsible for your own actions.

The good. It just works. Excellent flight, excellent camera, it just works. If you do something stupid, Autel customer service is USA based and EXCELLENT. The bad. Buttons on the back of the controller aren't programmable. Grrrr. No "easy" panorama mode. I'd love a software update where I can toggle it to put a group of photos all in one folder by themselves so I can stitch later. Not DJI, so fewer accessories.

The Autel Evo is an intuitive, powerful, and extremely user friendly drone. I feel this drone is extremely simple to operate, especially with a bright and detailed display built into the remote control. All the menu/option buttons are easy to understand while flying with the remote control only. The ability to fly the drone without a mobile device is GREAT. Once a phone is connected, it becomes even more fun to fly, because I then have access to open the menus to change flight modes, camera settings, etc. This may be because I haven’t figured out how to change any settings while in “remote” flying mode, if it’s even possible. But hey, I’m still learning. The sensors on the drone are pretty sensitive, at least when recognizing any nearby object. And by nearby, I mean it will alert me that there’s a tree or building 30-40 ft. away in front or behind. This is fine unless I’m hovering, then the constant sound of the alarm begins to annoy me. Though the sensors are sensitive, I’m pretty disappointed in the rear sensors specifically. I decided to fly the drone backwards towards me, just to see how close it comes before stopping. The drone almost hit me before I decided to stop it myself. The drone came within 1ft. of hitting me. I really like the connection, or at least the quality of the connection while flying the drone in an area not completely open. I was able to fly this drone roughly 1,700ft. from my house while recording in 4k at 60fps. It can fly a greater distance. The direct path I took was obstructed by trees, but the connection didn’t drop, nor did the video feed shutter. I’ve flown this same path with my other drone, and received a lot of warning messages and delayed/shuttered feedback with the video feed. I also like the zoom feature on the camera. It can come in handy, however, as I got closer to the 8x zoom, the picture got pretty grainy. One thing I really like about this drone is the speed in which it can climb and descend, which is pretty quick in my opinion. It comes with a 32GB sd card already inserted in drone. That was very much appreciated, as it allowed me to fly immediately, and I didn't have to worry that I didn't have the correct rewrite speed. As far as things I didn’t like about the drone, first and foremost is the fact that it doesn’t include a lightning to usb cord. This really sucks as I had to grab my charging cord to be able to connect to the remote. When traveling to locations to use EVO, I didn't think of it until after I had reached my destination and realized none of the cords that came with the drone were compatible to connect my iPhone. Good thing it can fly without a phone. As mentioned earlier, the rear sensors are a disappointment as well. Also, if having different flight modes is a big deal, this drone only offers 4 flight modes aside from the standard camera mode. For me personally, its not a deal breaker, but my other drone has a few more flight mode options which adds to the fun I can have with the drone. Overall, I think this drone is a very good buy. It can get the job done without being cumbersome or confusing. I would recommend it for beginners and seasoned pilots.

Great drone even for a beginner! Bought for hubs Christmas and he uses it every day to just look around. Very easy to learn how to use it. He even used it after a bad wind storm to view our roof for damage. He has already crashed it several times and it survived with no damage so I would say it is very durable. This is one of the best after looking at drones for over a year before deciding to purchase.

I was waiting for the EVO2 to arrive but the delays from the covid19 got me tired of waiting so I went ahead and bought the EVO1 and man I'm glad I did. This drone give me what I wanted and more at this point I'm sure I can use this drone for a couple of years before I'm gonna need to upgrade. Well worth it.

Excellent piece of gear, ease of use is amazing. The fact that it has no geographical fencing is impeccable. Slight learning curve but when you take your time it is a blast! Careful with ludicrous mode! If not, you will break your drone in a collision. I recommend this product be bought for ages 15+

Honestly the price is intimidating but it’s actually a pretty easy drone to learn. It flys really well and takes amazing videos.
