Perfect drone to get everything done without the geo-fence issues that you have with a DJI drone

It was all right I did not like the controls I mean let me refer the controlling and a stop in power of the evil the camera was excellent video was good but controlling not so much on point like I thought it would be overall though it’s an OK drone

Had been shopping around for my first drone and bought this one because of the built in screen on the controller. Have to say buying this drone was the best decision. Haven’t had a problem with it yet.

Great device for my fleet. Built in screen 9n remote let's me take off in 30 sec. No phone hook up or anything! Great camera and its extremely comparable to Mavic 2 pro hassleblad. 4k 60fps is awesome

This drone is AMAZING, my husband loves it. He uses for our Church services and for his play time of course!

This drone is easy to take apart for charging purposes as well as assemble. Flying has gotten a little chanllenging but nothing that a 15 year old can't master with practice.

The Camera is very good and HD its control is very good and great options but when i flew it it had a problem and one propeller just flew off of it and it broke and flipped down face first. So maybe and different option would be better

The Autel EVO is an excellent premium mid-sized drone that is highly portable, easy to fly and produces fantastic video and photos. First impressions out of the box give you a sense of the premium nature of the product. The drone feels solid and well-built with a mix of plastic and metal parts. The camera gimbal, when out of the guard, will move around a lot on you, but this is the nature of a well stabilized camera. You’ll appreciate this soon enough. And the remote feels solid and very comfortable in hand, without being too heavy. Initial setup is easy to complete following the included ‘Quick Guide’ and takes about an hour. Charging both the drone (removable battery) and the remote (fixed battery) is accomplished simultaneously with the included AC brick. After that you must update the firmware. This can be accomplished via a manual download from Autel’s website (if you don’t have a smartphone) or through your own smartphone connected to the remote and the ‘Autel Explorer’ app. A few things to note: 1) The cable included to charge the remote has a micro-USB B end on it while the remote itself has an unmarked square micro USB A port. The 2 connect fine, but cause you to second-guess if you’re doing it correctly. 2) While an iPhone should work with the remote (I flew using an OG Pixel), an Apple Lightning cable to connect the 2 is not included and must be purchased separately. 3) Register your drone with the FAA. Even if you’re just a hobbyist. While its charging is a good time to take care of this. The process is easily done via the FAA website. It takes just a couple of minutes and only costs $5 for 3 years. Like the initial setup, preparing to fly is similarly easy to step through. Setting up the drone, the arms are labeled clearly on how to unfold and have a solid, positive feel to them. If you’re using a smartphone, connect your smartphone to the remote, power on the remote and the app launches automatically. Once both units are powered on, the remote will automatically connect to the drone and confirm its status, confirm a GPS signal, set the home point, and be ready to launch. In flight, the drone is easy to control, very responsive, and very stable, even in a moderate wind. Front facing and below obstacle avoidance work very well, though the rear obstacle avoidance is far less sensitive. Note that there is zero sensors for obstacle avoidance on the sides. Advanced flight modes such as Dynamic Track or Orbit, while not intuitive to find in the app, work very well and produce good results with minimal effort. 'Return to Home' has proven very accurate. And Flight time for me has clocked in around 22 minutes. This is a bit short of the advertised duration of 30 minutes, but could be related to environmental conditionals and/or piloting choices. Finally, the 4k camera on the EVO really is the icing on the cake. Video quality is superb with excellent detail and color representation and the image is ultra-stable thanks to the amazing gimbal. Easy access to the manual settings such as ISO or shutter speed really allow you to tailor the image to your circumstances and options such a video/photo file format (MP4, MOV, etc) are greatly appreciated. There are also filters available (ND, Polarized, etc) which are super easy to install. One other point I want to make. I needed to deal with Autel’s support due to an issue I had (self-induced…not the drone’s fault). The US-based support is super easy to deal with and very helpful.

Loaded with safety features the evo is just the right camera for those ready for the next step after a beginner drone!

When searching for drones, I’d always think of getting something novice friendly and this evo has definitely done that. Great handling

Autel EVO is what a drone that I made my best decision to get it. Didn’t regret any bit.. glad I brought it.. whatever I need it on the autel evo.

At the age of 67 it is taking me awhile to learn the operation of the drone. I have not totally figured out the operation of the camera yet. I wish it came with more detailed instructions on the camera. So far I am happy with the drone.

This is my first experience using a drone and I couldn't be happier. I was very nervous to fly this thing on it's maiden voyage, as I didn't want to crash it and ruin the experience. After un-boxing, I charged the battery and controller to full power. I then downloaded the Drone Simulator app from the app store (Apple) and played around with the functions a bit to get the "feel" for how to fly a drone before I took to the skies. Once I had mustered up the courage to go fly on my own, I enabled novice mode and flew a few small pattern in my backyard (box, circle, figure-8, etc) to get a feel for the controls. The drone flies very well and was easy enough to control. The 'Go to home' button landed the drone within inches from where it took off from; very impressive. The camera takes great pictures and video and is impressively stable, even in windy conditions. After a couple of flights, I switched off novice mode and cranked up the speed. This little thing hauls and I watched it blow by me doing about 45mph (confirmed via the readout on the controller). The included storage bag fits the drone, controller, and battery nicely, with padded inserts to divide the bag into sections for each piece. There are also an abundance of additional zippered and external pockets. If you leave the battery attached to the drone, you can also easily fit the charger. For the more serious user, Autel does make a hardshell case with dedicated spots for each piece and room for additional batteries. For an improved flying experience, download the Autel Explorer app onto your smartphone and connect it to the controller. This provides way more settings and the ability to log flights and preview pictures. This also gives you a live stream of what the drone's primary camera sees. It is pretty hard on the phone battery though. However, the app is very well detailed and laid out. If there was anything negative that I could say, it's that the documentation that comes with the drone is very lacking in detail. There are so many functions and settings that can be controlled from either the controller, or even more-so by connecting a smartphone to the controller and hooking it up to the Autel Explorer app. I've flown a few times and I'm still trying to figure it all out. All in all, I'm very pleased with this drone, although I can't compare it to anything since it's my first experience with a drone/quad-copter. I can foresee myself needing to purchase another battery soon to extend my flying abilities past the 30 mins that the battery provides.

After this drone I purchase the Dj pro 2 my biggest mistake EVO is mach better drone from my point of view

Drone camera is awesome but I could only get 25 min of flight and only went half a mile out never reached 2-4 miles like I hoped so I returned

There is no comparison best drone. Also comes with a controller with a screen no other drone has that.
