Avatar: The Last Airbender is one of the greatest animated shows to ever exist, and it is nice to see a full box set of all three seasons of the series. Here is why I bought it from Best Buy instead of another place. Included in the Best Buy set is the first trade paperback of the comics called "The Promise-Part One." I couldn't pass it up because it gave me one of my favorite shows along with the continuation in an easy to read format.

Words cannot describe how much I enjoy this show and all that is encompassed in it. This is such a wonder coming of age story filled with action, humor, and of course awesome "bending". The character of Aang was done so well and continues to be one of my favorite; not to mention uncle Iro who is so awesome. This is a show the whole family can enjoy and for such a frat price. Only wish was that it was available on blu-ray.

Avatar the Last Airbender is a childhood favorite of mine. Every recurring character is fleshed out beautifully; they have strengths and flaws that are believable and even relatable. While most of the episodes are silly, there are also many that have a somber tone, as the heroes learn what it's like to be part of a world-wide war. The fight scenes are amazing, and are even more beautifully animated as the series goes on.

I've been looking to get the whole Avatar The Last Airbender series in one set It's great that this set came out but you can tell in some of the episodes that their blurry or don't look right it's a shame that this wonderful series was treated this way they didn't even try to clean up the episodes or upgrade the picture quality it's a great series to own it takes up less room then the 3 box sets that came out

This series features well developed characters in an interesting world paired with good animation and a strong narrative. There is plenty of action and fighting due to the show's genre but as it is intended for children it is never too violent or frightening. Because the story the series tells is a bit more mature than the usual Nickelodeon fare parents may find that they can enjoy watching it with their children.

This is, for me at least, the BEST animated show ever created. The storytelling, the characters, the animation itself are all beautiful and well-crafted. That's why this show deserves better than a simple DVD release. It would look so crisp and so much more colorful in HD. A blu-ray would really unleash the technical quality of the show to match the plot and character development and present this as the true animation masterpiece that it is. However, this is a good start. I love having the full series so I can experience this great show from beginning to end! It might not be HD picture or sound, but it's still worth the purchase because the quality of the show more than makes up for it!

I remember seeing this show first air on tv when I was a kid and to be honest I didn't understand the show at the time and I wasent able to get past episode 10, I decided to watch the show now years later and I saw this on the rack and I said why not. Best investment ever! I love this show and you should definitely give it a try. It's filled with humor, action, and a pretty good story.

I grew up watching this show and it is hands down one of the best animated series that I ever watched. I had been contemplating for the longest on whether or not to buy the individual box sets, but this complete set helped me seal the deal! This is a must watch for any one that is an avid cartoon watcher or even remotely interested in the show. You will not regret it!

Just show has it all. From great voice actors, compelling Scripts, and overarching villains that are relatable. Too good artistic style, comedy and levity, and serious undertones, this Series has it all. If you have kids or are just a fan of good storytelling this series is a must have. The price is magnificent, as well, at $5 a season.

Watch the live action film first and it'll only make you appreciate the animated series even more! It is a fantastic series that I fell in love with since the first time I had nothing better else to watch on fateful night. Amazing writing and great characters that you can actually relate to on so many levels, my favorite being Uncle Iroh.

There's a movie about the Avatar, but it does not do justice to the tv cartoon series. They're funny and can do for little kids. I'm very glad I bought it. I'm watching every single episode starting by the beginning where I thought I had seen it before and realize I had not. Very glad I purchased it and definitely recommend it.

I love this series! Watched it when it was on tv as a kid and could not pass up the opportunity to purchase it at Best Buy, and for such a great deal too! It has such a great story line and character development is thorough as well. I can definitely say that this is a quality show that I would recommend to anyone, adult or child!

My children ages 9 and 7 love this series. There is a lot of depth in characters and storyline. One of the only animated series ever to win multiple awards in the double digits. including depiction how war affects the world, community, and environment from wiping cultures, history, and scientific advancement/ innovation.

Avatar: The Last Air Bender is the greatest show of all-time. It combines aspects that make it fantastic for adults and kids alike. It's funny, it's sad, the fight scenes take animation to the next level and a certain character that is introduced in season 2 is the single best character in the history of entertainment.

This is a wonderful show, and I can't recommend it highly enough. The box set, however, is just a repackaging of the old season box sets, which were themselves just repackagings of partial season discs that were sold individually. There are no new bonus features, they haven't upgraded to blu ray, or anything like that. If you don't already own any of the series, it's a nice enough set, but if you have the any of the seasons, just complete that collection instead.

Avatar the last airbender is centered around the last Avatar who has been gone for 100 years. The world badly needs his help before the fire lord destroys the earth and takes over. The Last airbender is found by 2 water tribe kids, one of them being Katara a water bender. Together they train to defeat the fire nation.

We are familiar with the series and have seen it before so when we saw it for only $25 at BB it was immediately in our basket. Our kids range from 3-7 years and although there are some deep concepts in the later seasons it's still a show our younges can watch wirhout issues

Only 2 issues with this set, 1 is the nick promos at the start of each disk. Old ads for old products. Also, on tv series sets, i feel promos before the disc goes to the main menu is just not right. The series is also in letterbox, which is what the original series was, but an update to that to make it appear better on todays hd sceens, would have been nice. If you enjoy this series or any of the avatar series, you will enjoy it. It has about 24 hours of the show and the price was great. Overall, i would recommend this if you like the series.

The Avatar complete series is on our favorite and frequent watch movies list for family night movie watching. The Avatar series were well put together and the story line is visible throughout the series. it is definitely a keeper

My kids and I watched this series when it first came out on Nickelodeon. I saw the series on sale in the store recently and had to get it. We had purchased the DVDs when they first came out, but my children have borrowed them. Now I have the complete series! It is an amazing show!
