Bike rides smooth as butter. I got this bite specifically because I'm a real heavy and needed something that could hold me. I've had it for about 3 weeks now and it's been amazing. I'm already starting to slim down. I was just under the weight capacity for this bike so I was still worried it wouldn't hold me well but there hasn't been a single issue. The bike goes very fast and brakes amazing. I've let my family take it out for rides a few times and they have nothing but praise for it. Anyone I meet while riding compliments the bike and asks about it.

Delivered to my door and assembly was easy. I've had it for less than a month and put almost 200 miles on it. The battery seems to last a very long time. After 8 or 10 mile ride its still in the 90 percent range. I've only been using the eco mode. I had to use a lot of throttle during a longer ride to get down to the 40 percent range. As a 6ft 300lb guy, this bike works for me.

This eBike is fantastic! I got the step-through Adventure2, because I recently had hip replacement surgery and it was a challenge lifting my leg over the bar/seat of my old manual bicycle! So far this bike' been a joy to ride. It's payload is 400 pounds and since I weight 300 pounds, its smooth, sturdy and has a solid ride with the 4 inch tires!

I love this bike.Im 67 years old,I only had bike a few weeks.because of weather I was only able to ride 5 times.however om up to 21 miles on a songle ride.I recomend this for all ages

I really enjoy this bike. Because this is my first electric bike, there are some things you just have to get used to. Because I had the tech team from BestBuy assemble the bike as part of the TotalTech subscription, I think they did a good job however they scratched a few things on the bike and didn’t use any of the bike grease needed for the saddle pole and pedals. Even though this a review of the bike, I wanted to throw that in as an FYI. Aside from that, the pieces and parts of the bike are of great quality. The Shimano gear shifter is very easy going from gear to gear (both up and down) and smooth. The motor on the rear wheel has plenty of torque and can climb steep inclines pretty well. Although the top speed of the throttle is 20mph, I just wish it could do the full 28th without the use of the pedal system….but not a deal breaker. The bike IS very heavy so be ready for the weight. The battery life is pretty much what is says in the owners manual. I find it very good. I went riding recently for about 23 miles (mostly on flat ground with few inclines) and I still had 40% battery left. I do like that the battery doesn’t have a memory so charging it after you ride, or not discharging it to a certain level like other electric batteries, is a plus in my book. The different levels of “assistance” work well with my riding style and frequently switch between them all based on what I’m doing. The torque sensor engages very quickly and is a great help when needed (especially when trying to cross busy intersections). Here are my only drawbacks: When I purchased my first eBike (another Aventon), I put it together myself according to the instructions. After being fully assembled, I could hear a slight rubbing sound out of the front disc brakes even though everything looked ok. After getting THIS bike it seems as though this may be a sound that is normal for disc brakes. I’m going to ask around at some bike shops in my area but it may just be that: a normal operating sound. The other thing I’m dissatisfied with (but not completely) is the brightness of the display in bright daylight….AND if you have polarized sunglasses, you can’t see the display at all. While on the subject of the display, I just wish there was an easy way to reset the trip count. It’s probably something I’m doing wrong but I can’t, even with the phone app, figure out. Finally, there are some knocks and creeks I hear in the back that I can’t quite figure out where it’s coming from. I’m hoping that it’s not a mechanical issue that will leave me stranded somewhere. But, I plan on finding it out somehow. Overall, I love the bike and try to look for every opportunity to ride it whether it’s to work or just for a quick ride in the neighborhood. Although I’d LOVE to take it with me to ride on a trail in my area, I’d need to purchase a new bike rack as the one I currently own is for a standard bike size and weight, it simply cannot handle this beast of a bike.

I bought this as a way to commute to work. Easy to put together. We had a little trouble getting the front fender on. The hardware was on really tight. We just used a drill. I'm on the heavy side and it carries me very well. The tires are huge which makes getting on and off curves easy. I really have no complaints. It has break lights, turning signals, I usually average between 15-20mph on eco pedal assist. Turbo is very fun. Like I said, it's the best purchase I've made recently. I did add mirrors to help stay safe, but it handles very well. I recommend if you decided between the older version and this one, it's worth the extra money.

Right out of the box the rear rack, the rear fender and the seat were damaged. The rear rack appears to have been crudely attached and it caused the rear fender to dent inwards which caused the rear wheel not to move. I had to remove it so the bike could even move. It was hard to remove because the damage. The bike seat had a cut on it. I contacted them several times and no response in over 2 weeks. I expected better quality and service for such an expensive bike.

Love the bike. Researched it a lot. Met my expectations.

Very happy with easy to figure settings and just go for a ride. Battery seems to easily last as long as I need even helping up long hills.

I bought this for my husband and he loves it. He rides it 3 to 4 times a week for around 10 miles each time. Its very easy to ride and very comfortable.

This is the best ebike and Bestbuy makes it very easy to buy this.

I have purchase 3 aventon bicycles from best buy with the understanding I would be able to get a free battery. Aventon not only does not send any batteries but does not even respond to multiple emails.Keep this in mind when purchasing this bike

Love this bike. I got the large as a 6ft guy. I might try the regular if I did it again, but it still fits me with the seat very low. PLENTY of power behind this thing. Lets be go up very steep grades and holds it's charge very well on more even ground. HEAVY, but manageable.

Think twice purchasing an Aventon product through BestBuy. Aventon had a promotion for a free extra battery with purchase, a $500 value. You had to wait until receiving the bike to have a serial number to submit with a form for the extra battery and they would confirm your purchase within 14 days. After 20 days they notified me that they do not honor promotions with BestBuy and sent me a screen capture of this exclusion but it can not be found anywhere on their website and they can not direct me to this exclusion on their website. (update: its on page 22 item 26 of their terms of service which can be found at the bottom of the main page under FAQ / owner resources / before you buy / terms of service, for those who are wondering) Meanwhile BestBuys return period of 15 days expired so I can't return it and repurchase from one of Aventon's prefered dealers. After hours of calls and many emails with Aventon and BestBuy not customer services I'm out of a $500 battery. I'm told the only way to escalate this past customer not service in a far away country is to drive 2 1/2 hours to my nearest BestBuy because there is not a direct phone number to any BestBuy except to a far away country. So the lesson here is Aventon should probably disclose exemptions where a consumer can find it. Sorta like a surgeon general warning. And maybe BestBuy should not be in the Aventon selling business since Aventon doesn't trust them with promotions. Something to consider with your purchase and not end up out of $500 like myself.

I am VERY concerned about the lack of support from Aventon. I have sent emails and created tickets for over 2 weeks, and never a response. Also, their phone number states that they no longer accept phone calls.
