    Think twice purchasing an Aventon product through BestBuy. Aventon had a promotion for a free extra battery with purchase, a $500 value. You had to wait until receiving the bike to have a serial number to submit with a form for the extra battery and they would confirm your purchase within 14 days. After 20 days they notified me that they do not honor promotions with BestBuy and sent me a screen capture of this exclusion but it can not be found anywhere on their website and they can not direct me to this exclusion on their website. (update: its on page 22 item 26 of their terms of service which can be found at the bottom of the main page under FAQ / owner resources / before you buy / terms of service, for those who are wondering) Meanwhile BestBuys return period of 15 days expired so I can't return it and repurchase from one of Aventon's prefered dealers. After hours of calls and many emails with Aventon and BestBuy not customer services I'm out of a $500 battery. I'm told the only way to escalate this past customer not service in a far away country is to drive 2 1/2 hours to my nearest BestBuy because there is not a direct phone number to any BestBuy except to a far away country. So the lesson here is Aventon should probably disclose exemptions where a consumer can find it. Sorta like a surgeon general warning. And maybe BestBuy should not be in the Aventon selling business since Aventon doesn't trust them with promotions. Something to consider with your purchase and not end up out of $500 like myself.

    I am VERY concerned about the lack of support from Aventon. I have sent emails and created tickets for over 2 weeks, and never a response. Also, their phone number states that they no longer accept phone calls.
