This capture card works great. I plugged it in and it was instantly recognized by OBS and the video quality is excellent with no perceptible input lag.

This is an easy to use great way to get a stream going with little hassle. It took me seconds to get going and I was using my DSLR to stream so they made a great product

I only put 4 stars because ive only used it for one thing. I still want to see if i can connect 2 things at once. It looks nice and works for my camera to be a webcam.

Easy to set up and can be used right out of the box. Instructions are easy to read. The main reason I got this is so I can record party chat and game audio. Overall highly recommend.

Works like how it should be. Sometimes on random it will loose it's connectivity, but that is only by random. It's a sleek unit and very easy to hide if needed.

Affordable and easy to set up. The free software that avermedia has is very intuitive. Had to return because the pass through supports 4k60f. I need to support 1440p60f.

I have been trying to find a decent, affordable game capture card, and at $125, this can't be beat! Great quality, passthrough is phenomenal, it even works great with my 2K portable monitor!

The unit as a stand alone worked great. With my laptop, i5 ssd Drive, the downloaded software was very laggy. Updates weren’t user friendly. Biggest issue for me I could not get ps4 audio chat to work.

I love this thing. you need class 10 micro sd otherwise it will appear broken and will not record anything. I love the fact I can record without plugging it into the computer.

Easy plug and play setup. I've seen reviews saying this has issues with recording sometimes, but I have had no issues yet.

I purchased this card hoping it would work for console streaming and as soon as I took it out of the box it worked. Just be sure to read the online manual to make sure everything is correct.

We had so many tech issues with ELGato's capture devices when capturing to my iMac. This worked instantly, with no awkward work arounds. A breath of fresh air. And it costs less!

This unit works great. I have an older MacBook and many of the other brands required too much power. Works great every time. Comes with all the cables you will need, nothing extra to buy

For those who don’t have immediate access to a PC, or would rather record gameplay without having to plug the video into a computer, this is as good as it can get. You can switch between saving recordings onto a Micro SD cards or you could always go to the standard PC mode which will turn in into any ordinary game capture device. Recording in either mode captures the video in 1080p, although those with really good eyes will notice the slightest difference in quality between PC mode and PC-free mode, due to the way the video is processed. (Very hard to notice though). It is absolutely recommended if recording without a PC is something that is preferred.

If you are in need of a capture card and the elgatos are sold out this is a solid alternative. Does what it's supposed to and its simple to use so all around its a good buy.

I want to start off at the very beginning with the unboxing. The packaging and presentation were very basic and minimal. Maybe they feel the unboxing experience is not important if you are buying this. The initial packaging felt cheap and made me question the quality of the product, but then... I held the device. The first thing that came to mind when I saw it was it reminds me of a Tomberone candy bar with its shape. I find the design language a bit, out there, but if you are streaming it isn't seen right? Let's talk about areas of disappointment. USB 2.0 MicroUSB WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!?! 2019 is almost here and USB C is already making its way to commonplace. I bet if this port was USB 3.0 it wouldn't drop frames because the bandwidth would be better. The cord provided is actually a braided one, but shouldn't it be that way in 2018? Occasionally there are a few frame drops in recordings but it's more than useable. The software is really basic and advanced users may not even use it since there is OBS. Let's talk lag. The software has about a 1 second when using the ReCentral software. Software is very basic. The LGP2P really builds its case on value with PC Free Mode recording to SD Card. The software is very simple and minimalistic, too simple for my liking but scores high on the ease of use scale. Build quality is not a concern for me as this is a little red tank. Overall ease of use its main selling point using 1 button operation in PC Free mode as my favorite feature. Rubber bottom grips the surface to reduce sliding. You can use 4k passthrough while recording in 1080p. Overall, I really like this as a capture card because of its portability. This can fit in any bag and you are live streaming in minutes. Buy this if you are not wanting to deal with a PC when capturing. There are tools for live streamers using overlays too, so there is something for everyone here.

I bought this to capture switch gameplay and it works great! Picture is clear and playback is smooth. I used it with OBS on a PC and then I switched to using it without a PC and recording to a micro SD card and both methods work great! Recording on a basic standard micro center 512gb micro SD card without problems. This product is built well and feels like quality materials that will last a long time. The only thing I think is odd is that you have to have it plugged in for it to pass through video even if you’re not recording. It’s not a huge problem, just a small nuisance. I highly recommend this capture card.

It is easy to set up so you can begin recording! My wife wanted to start creating content on her Nintendo Switch for Animal Crossing New Horizons and had no trouble setting it up and getting everything connected. One port connects from the TV and the other port connects to the console. In this case, the Switch dock. Once it was set up, she was able to begin recording with ease. On top of that, this product allows us to use the TV as the “monitor” while still recording. Definitely recommend!

Love this product . Only problem is in is that I notice a slight lag when I use my PC as a TV for my switch . I know it was designed for that but it's the only option I have as I am a trucker
