I bought this thinking it was a good antivirus. The second it got downloaded it promoted you to call this number. The people who answered were in India and right away they got a hold of computer saying they needed to go in to make sure their antivirus was going to work. Then they said I had another antivirus in my my computer and they had to remove it and they were going to charge for this service. I disconnect them and cannot use this software and bestbuy won’t give me my money back. do not buy

AVG has always been a go to for me because they had a free option. This is the first paid version I've used and I'm happy with the performance. I haven't noticed any slowdown in my computer since I've installed the software and I haven't got a virus on my computer. So, by those standards I'd say it is doing what it should. The only reason I didn't give this product is the amount of ads that still exist even after installing the paid version. I still get notifications quite frequently about purchasing some extra package. It is somewhat annoying thus, the 4 stars instead of 5.

2 stars because the initial setup was neat and easy. I thought AVG was a good product and it may stop viruses however maintaining your peace of mind is more then promises. Had occasions where the software would not update and customer support was very un-helpful. Suggesting re-installation, further more they are full of unwanted solitications promoting other software they have.. Tech support wanted to use remote access. Doesn’t help much with protecting from malicious websites. Wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.

I got this as an add on when I purchased my tax software. I've used AVG Internet Security Software in the past, but it was the free and I expected being prompted to upgrade to a paid for, full version of the software. The only thing I didn't like about the full version, is you are being prompted to get a more "complete" version of the software. No big deal, but annoying.

To download this app you have to first pay$150 for tech support and $50 for another app. If you refuse they refuse to download the software you already paid for, I returned the package to Best Buy and they were kind enough to refund my money, even though we are not supposed to return opened software. I will never again have anything to do with AVG.

I got thus antivirus for 3 devices when it was in sale, $15. This days if you have windows OS is a must to have it, at least the free version they have, which I tried before. The only thing I didn’t like is that they try to sell you computer maintenance program all the time and other services. That’s annoying.

It was very easy to install and so far have had no issues with it running. I am also running Defender on the computer. I was not thrilled with being asked if I wanted another "type" of protection and then it showing me all the price choices. I was under the impression that it was included with this software. Not a biggie as it seems to be protecting my computer. I didn't opt to purchase anything further though.

This is the 4th year I have bought AVG Internet Security. It is a good value for the money, and provides reliable anti-virus protection. The only downside is that they keep trying to get you to upgrade to their other services . It can be somewhat annoying. But for $9.99 a year for three devices, it was a great deal!

This is nothing more then a code to apply once you log on to the AVG site. Appears as a CD,it's not. Plus after many tries, I finally got my account set up with AVG, only to learn what I bought is actually free. Free but no support. More; AVG bombarded me with emails trying to sell an update with support. Very unhappy and Best Buy should refund my cash.

This AVG Internet Security is very easy to set up and very easy to use as well. Once I got the product it was very easy to install on my computer and once installed it has been very user friendly. I have had it for over a week and I am able to easily ask it to scan my computer for viruses and give me updates on downloaded programs. I highly recommend this security software.

I tried this program on our two laptops and my home PC, and I had nothing but problems on all three. I am very disappointed in AVG. I uninstalled all three downloads. I have never had issues with any of their products in the past, so I thought I could trust this one. Well, that was a waste of time and money.

Initially there weren't any issues with the processes running in the background. After a couple of weeks though, the ever-so-vexing pop-up reminders to purchase their "ultimate" protection service simply made me realize the basic/intermediate plans will probably yield the same reminders until I pay more...figures

I got this after my Norton ran out for my Lenovo Yoga. Simple to install. Seems to be a reliable brand. It isnt anything special, just a run of the mill anti-virus. Realistically they all get the job done if its a paid program. But after using Norton for so long, I find this one is also very easy to navigate to clean up and protect your computer.

No issues on install nor any significant slow down of my windows 10 computer as another reviewer mentioned. The software suite is very comprehensive and addresses many of the common current areas of protection that need addressing in today’s new world if webcams and ransomware protection. Four stars for the 3 device limit.

This version was very difficult to install. I had to contact customer service and have them do it. It took 3 days for them to work out the kinks. Once it was installed it has worked with no problems. Not sure if I will buy it again, but this is the brand I have been using for awhile now.

Not a whole lot to say here. This is a good, easy too install lightweight antivirus and internet security solution. It's rated well on the third party antivirus review sites and doesn't overload your system with settings or features no one wants or needs. Bottom line, if you're in the market for antivirus, you can't go wrong with AVG

This is a GREAT program for protecting your Windows Computer. It works with all versions of Windows all the way down to Windows XP sp3 and you can install it on up to 3 computers for a whole year. Updates are Free and it even protects your Webcam from prying eyes. It doesn't get any easier or better!!!

Overall, Antivirus software in my opinion is hard to mess up. 1, does it catch viruses? 2, does it auto update? Those are seriously my only criteria as to if the product. The answer to both of these questions is Yes. Worth the buy, not a huge fan of the subscription model but overall gets the job done!

I have been lucky to not get any viruses, however, Anti virus software is similar to insurance, meaning you do not need it, until there an issue. By that time if you don't have it you're too late. With that being said, this software was easy to install and covers the bases for internet protection.
