I went through three projectors, before I purchased this one. This is the best of the best. Bright and sharp picture plus Dolby Atmos and 3-D. I love it. You can also browse the web plus more.

This unit was horrible, big and sits far away from the wall. After spending over $17,000 on home theater equipment, I switched to the best short throw projector they have and they keep almost $900 of my money! Horrible experience and we are still being treated very poorly. Don’t do it!

Between the horrible contrast ratio, black levels, rainbow effect and speckling, this unit isnt worth close to the $5500 price tag. I returned it and purchased the Formovie Theater for almost half the price and it blows the AWOL away.

1, 2, 3 strikes and I’m out of the awol game

Issue after issue - dead pixels, chromatic aberration, continually system resets. Customer support from manufacturer is virtually nonexistent. Stick with a real brand like Samsung and save yourself the headache of trying out Awol.

On my third unit. I wish I could just get a refund

First of all, AWOLVISION is running a contest and offering big prizes for the best reviews. Take note of the hashtag in product reviews for this projector, that means it is part of the contest. I don’t expect to win, as my review isn’t good but here it is anyway. My first unit developed a couple dead pixels within the first 2 months of use. I received a replacement unit and it worked fine for about 3 weeks the it would power up and not show any picture at all, just the audio. I was unable to return for a refund and was told getting a new replacement unit was my only choice. I don’t even want to open this box up and break the seal and plan to sell it on Facebook or eBay and buy something else from LG, Samsung or Hisense which are much more established brands. This projector is way to expensive to have this many problems.

not the upgrade that I was hoping for

I am comparing this projector against my Hisense 120L10e which is a dual laser projector from several years ago. The awol projector image just dreary in comparison and has this glitter like sheen that is very distracting. The speaker and subwoofer on the hisense also are far better while the awol speaker sounds distorted at about half volume. I was excited to try the awol because of its high brightness and ability to make a larger image, however I will be returning this and looking at the brighter epson ls800 instead for almost half the price. I was asked to leave this review by awol as part of a promotion. #myawolvisionltv3500

I owned a few UST projector over the year and this one takes the cake. The brightness is insane, for real world use it’s better than Vava chroma and Optoma
