The ALR Screen is good quality. The material is thick it does reject good amount of light and at the same time pops nice colors and can seeing the clarity.
I did get the 132 inch ALR Cinematic screen and size and quality does meets expectations.
The installation is easy and packing is very secure. Pls refer pics to differentiate between walls vs ALR screen Projection.
Although it is on the expensive size and premium and it would take few years to normalize on cost.
I can say it is better than 120 inch in screen size but ensure there is enough space to install as I had to reduce the projector screen close to floor to adjust the space.

While i really like the size of the screen, the springs used to strech it following the weak instructions has resulted in a wavy screen so horizontal lines arent straight when projected. When looking at the screen from the side you see the waves, this is after 10 days. They do say you may need to use the second notch to pull the screen tighter, which I haven’t tried yet. For $ 2000, i expect something a little more robust. If the second notch works i may change the rating. Buyer beware.

Renewed Joy of watching movies!

Having looked at many types of screens I decided on the AWOL 132 inch ALR Cinematic screen to go with my AWOL 3500 Pro projector. The combination of these two things is a wonderful thing. I am not going to go through the specs as there's plenty of that on the internet, not to mention in the description above. I am just going to provide my experience with the screen.
I chose the wall-mounted screen because I am quite fearful of something mechanical breaking over time. The lower the number of moving parts, the less there is to break. Once you have it on the wall, it's not going anywhere.
It came in a really impressive box. Very protective. I carefully pulled everything out of the box and organized it. I would suggest reading the setup manual and then read it again. The order of set up is VERY important. The order of the tensioning springs is also very important. All in all, it took my wife and I about 2 hours to put together. The instructions are a little vague in parts, so be patient and work through it (and be sure to wear your gloves(provided)).
Once set up and hung, it's showtime! The screen itself is very nice looking. The bezel is thin and elegant.
It's impossible to talk about the screen without also discussing the projector as the screen by itself is not going to do anything, right? Some of this is also reflected in my projector review, but WOW. This is so much fun. I have watched one or more movies almost every day since I bought the projector and screen. The image is amazing. It's sharp and vivid. This combo really does provide the "Movie Experience". There is something very different between a glass tv and a reflected projected image. It reads differently and it feels different. It feels... correct. Like what movies SHOULD feel like. 4k is 4 times bigger than a 1080 image. I am moving up from a 1080 TV (Panasonic 55 in. Plasma) to the 3500 Pro / 132 in. screen combo. So, the scaling up of... well everything, is a massively impressive improvement. Four times more pixels for the same image. That's a lot more information. Pair that with the power of the projector (which is Dolby Vision certified), and a screen which does an amazing job of rejecting ambient light, and you have one killer image. The details come screaming through. The size increase is also a plus. It is a totally immersive experience. I am viewing while listening in a 5.1 environment. While this will be upgraded in the future, this is already a deeply moving experience. <-- that's just it! It's an experience, not just a show on a tiny little screen. It IS the movie experience. You come away feeling like you were a part of something. Yeah, I totally recommend this screen.

I just purchased a AWOL 3500 pro projector and wanted to pair it with a great screen. I Decided on the AWOL 132” ALR CINEMATIC SCREEN. This will be going into my new Home Theater build. I was sold on this screen by its many features it brings to the table. Daytime viewing still bright and clear, colors and sharpness still excellent. Viewing angles from all directions is awesome. In a Dark room like a dedicated Home theater it's even better making the viewing clear and vibrant as it gets , simply awesome!
Once again like I had mentioned in my review on the Projector, Dave Goldberg with AWOL and there customer support team where excellent. The answered all questions and concerns that I may have had. This made my decision to purchase a smooth and enjoyable experience.
I am very excited about my new home theater build and so glad AWOL will be a big part of it. I highly recommend AWOL to anyone wanting to go the UST
Way!

Great Screen image. Even in room with daylight coming through door. Definitely better image in total darkness, but watchable during the day if needed. Set up is straight forward if you take your time and follow instructions.
