    The speakers in my sons car are from 2005 and they are stock. With this new head unit and this adapter it's made the speakers sound better than the old stock stereo, all the speakers still work.

    CarPlay adaptor and cables needed to install for Lexus 300. Best Buy walks the custom through the process. I recommend the steering upgrade as well

    Finally got around to changing out the original stereo in my 2006 Toyota Solara. Everything came together nicely, including this interface. The sound is far superior now...

    Originally this was not a piece which the car audio department recommended. A bit pricey but a needed piece if I wanted my JVC radio screen radio to work in my car. Glad there were 2 left.

    The item works fine. It was installed in a 2003 ES 300. Being an elite plus member, it helped; in regards to shipping. I needed the item fast and Best Buy came through. Came directly from Metra. I

    Sound came thru system ok but volume was stuck at a low setting and the volume knob on this adapter did nothing. Was trying to use with a 2002 Lexus ES 300 Mark Levinson system. Tried another identical adapter in case the first was defective but had the same problem. Ended up having to replace the entire Mark Levinson system. Also there are no speed sense wire, backup wire, or illumination wire connections on this adapter.
