Spendy but good quality

It works better as something to soothe him while holding him, wrapped around his back, when he gets overtired. Ultimately it's a good product but for the price I wouldn't buy it again.

You may want to try the Extra Low vibration level which is very mild just like the low heartbeat setting. It's the Baby Brezza Tranquilo Smart Soothing Baby Mat w/Bluetooth. I am a new Nana to a 12 week old. I purchased this for our granddaughter for Christmas. On Christmas morning she was beginning to because fussy because it does take us some time to open gifts. I happen to think about her "Santa" gift...we open them last. So I gave it to my daughter and son-in-law suggested they open this gift now. So they did...they were very excited. As my daughter downloaded the App, I was getting the batteries. Within 5 minutes, no kidding, my sweet granddaughter was not making a sound. She LOVED it...so did my daughter and son-in-law. It is amazing!!! I hoped they would like it but it surpassed all of my highest hopes because it truly soothed my precious grand girl! The only thing you should know is that it runs on batteries only. The great thing is that you can set a timer for it to turn off. So go ahead and purchase a nice set of rechargeable batteries to save you money now. But so thankful they didn't try to make it a wall plug chargeable. Not a good idea with babies that leak and have other items that can leak. So batteries that are sealed off are a blessing but just make sure you have some ready and spare on hand. Oh and I am purchasing another one to have at my house so they don't have to haul theirs around. It is worth the money!!! If expecting put this on your registry.

Bit of a mistake I must say. Within a week of actually getting to use the soothing mat it started to have a high pitched noise when turned on. It is very irritating to my wife and I, and I can't imagine it is soothing to our newborn. Since we purchased it months in advance we are past the return window. Live and learn I suppose, but it is unfortunate that it was a $100 fee to learn this lesson.
