This device is the answer for the mobile gamer who wants to play their XBox/Playstation remotely. Make sure you have a fast 5G or Wifi connection to your phone and also a hardwire connection to your Xbox/Playstation console for the best performance. Honestly, I use a 5G TMobile connection and WIFI to my consoles and still only see slight frame skips. An inexpensive way to game on the go, and much better than Nintendo Switch in my opinion.

I don’t know why I waited so long but this controller is amazing! I normally use it for Xbox remote play at home and it works like you normally play on a big screen. It does come with a year free subscription but after the year it’s a $50 for the backbone app. You can still use the controller without the backbone app so don’t stress about it. Love having something portable in hands.

I don’t like that I have to buy a subscription to use their dashboard (which looks really nice). Looking for more sports games, but if you are playing shooters this is really nice.
With that said, very happy and would buy again, once more games are out and they stop charging to use their dashboard, I’d give 5 stars.

Overall this device is pretty nice to have. It's unfortunate it's lightning since the latest iPhone is USB-C, and they aren't offering any exchange programs or rebates for customers needing to upgrade, but that's just me being picky. As for the device itself, it fits pretty much all devices, including my 14 Pro Max, but it is a *little* snug. My biggest gripe is it doesn't have analog triggers, and the joysticks are quite touchy, and it isn't easy to give small inputs, making things like aiming in FPS' really difficult. But for games like Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, as an example (Which I played a *ton* using Xbox Cloud Gaming when I was in the process of moving and had my Xbox packed), it's perfect for it. It also works great for on-device games from the App Store, such as Minecraft: Bedrock Edition or Genshin Impact. Overall, I recommend it. Just stay away from their subscription, it's the most overpriced garbage I've ever seen. Literally $50/year for what is essentially a game launcher and screen recording.

Great controller for gaming on the go! Whether you’re playing on an iPhone or android! The app has a great interface and you can play a wide variety of games from Xbox or use the PlayStation remote play app to play what you want, when you want. It’s also very easy to use!

It’s great! It’s easy to use, the subscription is pretty cheap. It easy to use the ps play app and I can play from far away, I played it in a different state than my PlayStation 5. You need a stable connection to use ps play, which is reasonable. The mobile games don’t require a stable network. I think it was an excellent purchase, an $100 well spent.

This has got to be the best mobile gaming setup. The controller build quality is superb and all the joysticks and button feel very responsive. They did include a rubber adapter for the iPhone 13 pro because the camera bump is a little larger but the device still fits in perfectly. The backbone app is also really nice and is a great central hub for all your game options. Just plug the phone in and your good to go. Buy it now, you wont be disappointed.

An excellent purchase!!! Bought it just to play the Halo games. Fantastic graphics and love to play on it. Wil definitely be checking out the other games Xbox has made available. The hard part is going to be which game to play. And it’s a lot more convenient on the go.

Great for mobile games and easy to setup. The only things that can be improved in my opinion is the analog sticks and the XABY buttons. The analog sticks are a bit too sensitive and the buttons click a bit loud. That being said, it still improves gaming on mobile devices tremendously.

This is a great way to turn your phone into a game playing tool. The backbone has good feel and is built with quality. The app is nice and certainly provides a clean and logical interface. It’s not required though, so users can choose if they want to pay for it.

Bought my son this backbone for xmas, so he could play his Xbox games on the go. He was so impressed and so happy to be able to play on his phone as if it were a handheld device. The ONLY down side is that you need to remove your phone from it’s case in order to connect it, which can be catastrophic should your phone fall while you’re in the process of connecting/disconnecting it.
