Picked this up during BF for $70. To sum it up, the backbone controller is like attaching Switch Joy Cons to your phone (with slightly larger joy sticks). The experience is great for almost any game that supports a controller. Emulation, SteamLink, Play Store and sideloaded games all work and with a direct USB-C connection there isnt any noticeable input lag. Works well with my Pixel 7 and slim bumper case. Only downside is the backbone doesnt support USB transfer through its secondary USB-C port. So no ability to add additional storage for a larger catalog of local games.

This thing is great. Buttons are great, iphone 15 pro max fits great in the controller. Performance of the controller is great as well.

The backbone PlayStation edition is a great product to have as a mobile gamer. You can stream your console directly to your phone with low latency. I recommend this over the PlayStation portal because you can do more than just play PlayStation games. You wont regret buying one of these.

Great for playing emulators! Comfortable to use and very responsive. The size is perfect! I havent tried other games but have been playing psp, n64, gameboy advance, and dreamcast.i would highly recommend this product!

I use a Samsung Flip 3 5G. I bought the white playstation model. The phone fits perfect with extra set of adapters that come with it. Very easy to take out the original and pop in the other ones. I use it to play off my PS5 at home in another part of the house, while im on the bus to work, or 30 miles away at work. No problems at all knock on wood. There is an odd looking button that you use to be able to connect the phone to ps remote play that took me a while to figure out. Thats it. I recommend to any Samsung flip users and or PS Remote users.

I like how you can use it for pretty much anything Xbox steam pass to remote PlayStation and then heading back to Apple Arcade really convenient when I’m on the road or at work.

Great purchase, must have for travels, easy to charge while playing, convenient to hold for hours.

I’m not a gamer, I’m just a dad who works a lot. Somehow this device has me obsessed. I haven’t put it down since I bought it. I take it everywhere in my pocket. I love it!!!

Compact and on the go comes with a free case as well dont really need to buy another case since that he a watse of 25$+

Bought one for me and one for my son. I use Xbox cloud gaming and he plays mobile Fortnite.They work exactly as advertised. Connection was plugged in play. Like the product so much that I might buy another one in the pro version.

My son is a Freshman in college. As with most boys his age, he loves to play video games. It is a way for him to relax between his studies and his other activities. The Backbone Mobile Gaming Controller is a game changer when it comes to playing video games on his phone. He was able to quickly add the controller to his existing Android phone and immediately began playing video games. If you are looking for a controller to use with your phone, I would highly recommend this product. It is easy to set up, easy to use, and fits comfortably in his hands.

Great concept and much easier to play on if you haven't adapted yourself to other controllers like Xbox or PlayStation. The joysticks are just not like console controllers and way further apart. I'm sure you can get used to it with enough time but for me personally I change all my settings and sensitivities on my controllers and I play on the Xbox elite and this was just to odd to play on. I only got it for when I'm out at work in the oilfield for 7 days. I played it one time and was just not feeling it. Also I have a great phone (s24) but be darned I'm getting old and I was squinting to all heck trying to play COD zombies seriously and it wasn't happening lol I already gave it away. So most of this is my personal opinion and the quality of the backbone is there and the concept is awesome my opinion is just something to think on before you drop $100. It could be about $60-65 and would make more sense considering you're already paying for gamepass or the backbone subscription. You get 30day trial of backbone subscription. BUT it is portable and that's great as long as you have phone service!

So happy i can put work in with Fortnite and COD Mobile so much easier!!!!! A Must Buy!! And an amazing price

I bought this for my son for Christmas and it’s by far his favorite present this year! He also got the new Nintendo switch 2 but still plays using this more. My daughter kept borrowing it so I went back to get another.

Backbone One PS Edition is and amazing device. It covers a whole bunch of game and you can literally use it anywhere you want. 4star due to having some features behind a paywall (streaming, button remapping, and some cloud games). Though this last part is not much of a deal breaker since you can access your PS, XBOX and PC games through their respective apps. The cloud service is more if you dont own a console! Menu / button layout: it might take you a few days before you can completely get used to what button does what, but its just a regular controller with a few extra features so nothing bad to say here... Grip: its not bad, though it could be better. For people maybe with small hands its perfect. For people with big hands (as myself) it a bit uncomfortable as the handle are slim and your hands will feel weird when holding it. Sound: guess it depends on the devices you use. I have Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro and i can tell you sometime it feels like i have full headset. Clear and heavy sounds. Guess it does support some sort of surround/ atmos audio (again depending on your device). Charging: It does have a USB C passthrough under he right hand handle. Have read that for some people it does not charge as fast as it depletes the battery (yes it does use some of your phone's battery for certain features) but in my experience Ive found thats NOT the case. Overall GREAT device for those looking for an alternative to a STEAMDECK, ROG ALLY, GCLOUD or ONEXFly. (yes yes i know, this is for phones and those are basically full-blown handheld PCs, but if you dont have the $ this is the way to go. )

Perfect for gaming on the go. I use my Xbox, PS5 and emulators on my phone with this. I use a Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Literally better than any tv console I've played on, light night fast response, complete controll or axis, compatible with google play down loads, and acts as a good prop when watching movies. Backbone games are y Great and you get a free trial, lots of options to keep you busy for hours, I'm an FPS player and racer so the console is the perfect thing to use, motion sensor function would be dope for racing games because it fits in your hands like an F1 steering wheel, or a super car, only issue I have is this model doesn't have streaming capability! Solid product!

This thing is absolutely incredible, best mobile Controller I’ve owned! Wish the buttons were a little quieter but that is the only complaint I have, recommend getting the case two, protects it perfectly

Works great and feels good, could be a little bigger or i have big hands, trying to play xbox or ps stream sucks because it doesn't come on the first page, literally have to go through my phone menu but then it works fine Awesome sauce.
