    I bought this due to the black design I favored. The description states its Playstation compatible, it is not. Only the white PS version works with PS remote play. Very disappointing, I could have avoided the waste of time returning it.

    This does not work right out of the box for iphones. You must update the software first. The only way to do this is to have access to an android phone, which i dont have. Youd think they would make it available with an iphone, or at the vety least a computer. Its not a good start to me. Off to find an android phone somewhere.

    Ordered this SKU to use with my iPhone 15 Pro Max. The packaging states ‘Made for iPhone’, ‘Works with Android’. Controller was not recognized when plugging it into my iPhone. Backbone support is apparently telling people to connect the controller to an Android device to update the firmware in order to make it compatible with iPhone 15s. That is an absurd thing to ask the customer to do. Regardless, I tried it and the controller updated to version 1.2.0, which is the latest version available to it. Attempted to connect the controller to my iPhone afterwards, still didn't work. Backbone has a Support article where they tell you to fill out a form and they'll send you a replacement (you mail the faulty controller to them). Reading what other purchasers have said, apparently Backbone is sending them a Gen 1 replacement for their faulty 'Gen 2' controller. That is insulting. At best, Backbone as a company is incompetent. At worse, this is extremely defective advertising as the product clearly is a re-branded Android device with no support for iPhones. This is is ignoring them advertising 'full support' for the Android version of mobile games, when in reality that 'support' is paywalled behind their monthly subscription service which they throw in your face every time you open their app.

    I would've give it 1 star, but the user interface was really well built, great quality system. The actual gaming experience... not great. Use an xbox or ps5 controller instead.

    The buttons arent as responsive as id like them to be. Its truthfully a waste of money.

    I have two backbones at home but they are both full the older iPhones and since I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max now I needed one with the USB-C. But besides that this drop was pretty lackluster. They didn’t lower the price and it’s not even like a special design. I only bought it because I needed one anyway but I would’ve not bought it otherwise.

    I use it with steam link, and PC. And also with xbox series X via gamepass. It's also good for android games like CoD mobile and Farlight 84.
