Didn't last long

Although we followed all directions, it never gave us the same reading twice, and the readings it did give varied greatly. (I had 1/2 a wine cooler and I was a .09. My husband had 3 beers and was a .04, then a .02 15 minutes later.) I will try to exchange this one for a different one because if it were to work, it could be useful someday.

Posted .Please ensure you are waiting 15 minutes before testing yourself as before that time, the alcohol vapors in your mouth and throat are very high and can lead to inaccurate readings. If you are doing this and still getting inaccurate results, please contact BACtrack Customer Support. All our breathalyzers are covered by a 1 year warranty.

Tried it at a party after several drinks and it barely registered alcohol (did eat food too though). This device, added to good old common sense, is probably a good thing. But if you think you had too much to drink, you probably did. This device is then an afterthought.

However, the machine becomes really inaccurate after just a few uses. Be sure to buy extra mouth pieces! All in all, a fun thing to carry with you for weddings / social outings.
