Does not last long

The readings were all over the place. A few months after purchasing them, mine stopped working and now my boyfriend's one just stopped working today. It kept reading that there was an error

Zero if i could

I measured well after i stopped drinking and some of the shots i had were at least 4 hours previous. I had stopped drinking at least an hr and a half before i measured and it said. 08... knowing it was wrong i ignored it. Tried it again a few minutes later and it said .10 keep in mind I'D STOPPED DRINKING about 2 hrs before that point... tried it again a few minutes later and it says .11 so i have zero confidence in this product. I've read reviews here and elsewhere and the bactrack S80 appears to be the best (the reviews on this website date back to 2010 and and it appears to have gotten a lot better then what it was 6 years ago. I would say try that but avoid the key chain unit because it's not accurate at all

Not accurate at all
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My buddy is shloshed right now and I breathalyzed him and he blew a .06 meaning he is legal to drive. This is so wrong because he is prolly entering his 15th beer as we speak. I'm not letting him drive but I mean don't waste your money people this is so inacurate. Every single reading is a different number don't buy.

DONT BUY IF TRYING TO AVOID DWI
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.To have an accurate test, you are supposed to wait 20 minutes after eating, smoking, or drinking. Even after waiting the 20 minutes results seemed kind of all over the place. It may be fun to mess around with, maybe getting an estimate on BAC, but if you're using to reliably avoid the consequences that come with getting caught above .08, you could end up in trouble. Its also not "precise"...it only goes down to hundredths...

Not impressed

I blew a .04 which I thought was too low so I tried again and I got a .11, .10 , then a .07 all in a row. So I went to sleep, for two hours tried it out again then it said .00 then .03... I'm getting all different answers and they are not consistent...

Posted .Sorry to hear you've been having some trouble with your BACtrack. Please ensure you are waiting 15 minutes before testing yourself as before that time, the alcohol vapors in your mouth and throat are very high and can lead to inaccurate readings. If you are doing this and still getting inaccurate results, please contact BACtrack Customer Support. All our breathalyzers are covered by a 1 year warranty.
