Well worth the expense. It’s better to be safe than sorry. Good to have when you go out and have a couple drinks. It lets you know if your within the legal limit of intoxication. And I’d rather pay $20 than $10,000 for a DUI.

I have owned 2. First worked great for a year and a half and then I stepped on it. I bought a second, and the calibration was off (after drinking 4 or 5 beers i was still legal to drive... no way possible). I returned to best buy, they exchanged for another, which again works perfectly!

Works well and helps a lot--convinces me not to drive even if I think I'm ok. Of course when you've consumed alcohol you really are unaware of the true reaction time. We all think we are ok to drive. I ALWAYS listen to this machine. THANKS

I've only used this a couple times. Last week I had a six jello shots and after 40 minutes my BAC was 0.0. Then had five beers over 2 hours and my BAC was .0815. Stopped drinking and drank about half a Powerade and my BAC only dropped to .0805 after 90 minutes. Forty five minutes later it was .0515, but I didn't drink anything. The previous week I had four beers, but I didn't wait the 15 minutes you're supposed to and my BAC was .0515. Not sure how accurate this thing is.
