Too good to be true pricing

It seemed like a neat novelty. But I could never get it to connect to blue tooth. As I researched the issue, it appears this is a common problem. I had thrown our the packaging, so just I ate the 30 clearance price as lesson in too good to be true pricing. There was a reason.

not accurate

First time was barley drinking and blew a .14 then had him blow later in the night when he was very very intoxicated and showed him still at a .14. No way he was at the same then as he was earlier. Waited the 20 minutes since last drink and followed all of the directions. Returned it the next day.

Not Impressed

Next evening went out to event where I would be drinking and tried to do a test and got error code that the sensor was damaged and to return it. Thing never worked so returned unit and got a refund.

Great device for approximate BAC

You can connect the device to your phone via Bluetooth and use the application associated to the device in order to log your approximately BAC. It is a good way to make sure you are safe to drive after sobering up.

Works with Samsung S5
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.All you have to do is download app and turn on app, Bluetooth and BacTrack. It immediately connects, which i was surprise how quick it was(5 seconds?) Used it about 8 times, testing after 1 beer, 2 beers...and wife tested...to see if it looks accurate. I think its pretty close. For a big guy like me 3 beers in just over 1.5 hours i blew .05...I think i would be closer to .08 or so. but eye opening to see it doesn't take much to be legally drunk...Nice feature to 'guess' your BAC and it also keeps track of how many drinks you have when you blow. Cant comment on battery life, but 1 AAA will not be a problem replace.
