This movie was really good different but very good

This movie is a heist movie after the fact you have major talent but it tries to make you think it’s a smarter movie then what it is. While it’s not a bad movie the best thing about it is the title.

A completely engaging saga, vignettes sprinkled throughout the saga added a depth in speedy character development and added a seamless link to the plot. Jeff Bridges was terrific as the faux priest. Cynthia Erivo superb as the wanabe star, what a voice! A wonderful prize worthy performance by Lewis Pullman whose revealed, surprise talent was a satisfying twist to a redemption finish. Chris Hemsworth makes a great, pitiful psychopath. Only wish I could have that body!

Got this on sale. Looked interesting, like Fom Dusk to Dawn without vampires. Haven’t watched it yet but it looks like a not bad way to kill a couple hours.

Average movie But will watch it again and will have no problem recommending an average will be for somebody else to watch this looking for an average movie

This film relies upon the different views of the El Royale guests and how they interact. Everything is strange and tension filled at first, but as the movie progresses you learn more and more about the group at the El Royale and why they are there. The movie is entertaining with some really weird moments that can catch you off guard. Surprises abound and you will want to watch til the end, to understand what happened at the beginning. A real dark comedy with some great acting and story line.

Okay movie but nothing special, its alright to watch once but not interesting enough to suggest a second watch, better off renting it

I've seen better........but, then again, I've seen worse. It was an interesting movie. I would watch it again. Good thing, since I bought it.

This is a good movie. I enjoyed it quite a bit. I really like Dakota Johnson. She’s been good in several movies I’ve seen of hers.

This movie was entertaining. It was not promoted much upon release and form the previews it was hard to gauge the theme of the movie. I found it in the bargain bin and decided to buy it. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this film. It was suspenseful, cerebral, and witty. I dealt it harkens back to older ensemble films where everyone is sharing screen time. Underrated gem of a movie and great watch when your in the mood for something different.

BAD TIMES AT THE EL ROYALE is something out of an old film noir thriller that twists and turns throughout the movie, which is set at an old establishment right on the California - Nevada State line (which you can see runs right down the middle of the lobby leading up to the front reservation desk). If you're up to a whodunit, this film might just be for you.
