Bad Times at the El Royale is a twisty movie. No one is who they seem, and everything should be questioned. Chris Hemsworth does a great job playing a very creepy dude, a big departure from his role as Thor. This movie provided a fun evening of entertainment.

The El Royale is run-down hotel that sits on the border between California and Nevada. It soon becomes a seedy battleground when seven strangers -- a cleric, a soul singer, a traveling salesman, two sisters, the manager and the mysterious Billy Lee -- converge on a fateful night for one last shot at redemption before everything goes wrong.

The previews was better than the movie. It did not keep my interest.

I didn't think I would like this movie, I did like the preview but I thought it was going to be set back in the 60's and it was but it was a good movie, a 60's movie with a modern feel. More suspenseful than action with a great climax scene. Watch it, you will like it.

this was a pretty good movie. i enjoyed watching it in 4k.

With the proper direction, this could have been a true masterpiece.

It was just Ok for me reminded me of Hotel Artemis a bit.

It is too often that great original stories and storytellers are drowned out by larger franchises and larger box office draws. Drew Goddards is one of those. Between this and Cabin In The Woods, he is a director that needs to be celebrated and noticed.

It was a strange movie but over all kind of a good movie

This movie is tons of fun - a great script, fun dialogue and a great cast. Jeff Bridges is awesome as always and looks like he's having a blast. I was constantly surprised by the twists in the story and left the movie truly satisfied. Good times.
