This pizza oven is incredible. It's like I have a brick oven in my home. It warms up quickly and cooks fast. I buy dough and sauce from my local pizza place for $3 and make personal pizzas at home now.

I bought this pizza oven and it cooks the best pizza ever. The grill takes about 15 minutes to heat up over my gas stove and cooked our pizzas in less than 2 minutes! The crusts were perfect and the toppings weren't burnt one lick. Highly recommend.

We tried out the BakerStone gas stove pizza oven yesterday for the first time. Assembly was straightforward and simple, although the screws to attach the pizza turner handle to the spatula part were not included, but finding replacement screws in my garage was easy. We used the pizza oven on our outdoor grill. It took awhile to heat up, but we found that closing the lid on our grill over the pizza oven as far as we could helped speed up the heating process. We also closed the lid when cooking the pizzas to keep the heat as high as possible. The pizzas are limited to about 12 inches in size since that is the width of the pizza oven, but that was fine. We ended up making 6 pizzas with various ingredients and each of them were fully cooked within about 5 minutes. The crust was perfectly cooked every time, crispy on the bottom and sides. The oven gets very hot so its important to keep an eye on the pizzas and turn them 180 degrees when they are about halfway cooked. The included pizza turner was perfect for that purpose, and the included peel was great for getting the pizzas in and out of the oven. Overall, great product and I look forward to making many pizzas outdoors, especially during football season : @@@@@@@

It's good if you do not have a home oven

It's an okay product. First of all, it requires installation. It's not difficult, but it requires patience. You need to make sure that all parts align so that other subsequent parts fit perfectly. Quality of the parts and product is good. Here comes the challenge, the first time I tried it, I made pizza from those doughs in a can. Got excited, got everything together-- then the pizza launch inside was messed up. It was horrible. The pizza inside was messed up and I had to worry about all the pizza ingredients falling off etc. It was a disaster. I had to dismantle what I installed in order to clean the stove, just to give it another chance. I learned that you cannot put soft dough in there. It will not work, unless you want to go hungry. Second time around, I bought one of those pizza crusts-- put all ingredients in and launched the pizza in. It cooked fast-- you need to make sure you watch it and spin the pizza as it said. The smoke was insane too by the way, in both my attempts even if my exhaust was on super high. BUT, pizza result was good. Fresh pizza and cooked how I like it (since I was watching it the whole time). HOWEVER, I think I could have achieved the same in my regular oven. It would have taken longer for sure but I did not have to get the stove box ready and all that. It's definitely not for straight out beginners or non savvy people who want stone cooked pizza. It requires skills. Perhaps you can achieve the pizza you want in LESS TIME but it needs skills because you have to be careful about a lot of things-- setting up, the cooking process, being careful with the components since it is extremely hot, etc. If you have an oven at home, you can do without it. If you do not have an oven though, and you just have a stove top, you will be able to do minor oven things with it-- and cook great pizza. Again, it is not a "plug and play" product. It requires a lot of things in order to achieve good pizza. If you are up for that, then this may work for you.

We're pizza lovers and were really excited to see that we could cook a pizza on our stove top at a pizza appropriate temperature! The instruction booklet is very well put together and the only hiccup I had in the short time that it took to assemble the oven was when I didn't realize that the back pizza stone wouldn't stay in place until I added the two side stones. Once I realized that (and anyone with better spacial recognition would realize that), assembly was a snap. We turned the burner on and the oven heated up quite quickly. I cooked my pizza for 4 minutes, turning my pizza by quarter turns (roughly) and crust was exactly what I was hoping for, slightly crispy in places, slightly chewy in places. It was very easy. My singular issue with the pizza oven was that we don't have a flat grate on our stove top, which means that we need to perch the oven over the flames (see my 2 photos). Even being careful, I was worried that I might slide the oven off of the raised grate if I pushed too hard with the peel (I didn't). That worry is the only reason that I'm giving it a 4 star review and not a 5 star. If I had a flat grate stove (and I will get one soon), I would absolutely give this 5 stars. Even now, I would recommend this to a friend.

This little oven box is pretty easy to put together and works as advertised for the most part. If you want to make an individual pizza and cook it quickly this thing works like a charm. The pizza turner tool is extremely useful for rotating and removing pizzas and simply being able to see into the oven at all times while cooking makes it easy to tell when your pizza's done. They're not kidding when they say it only takes 2-4 minutes to cook an entire pizza and the initial heating process is much quicker than using a regular oven. But be warned it does indeed get VERY hot. Kids should be nowhere near the kitchen when this thing is in use. The one big issue we ran into is that it gets so hot you really do need an excellent exhaust system above your stove/oven. To get a pizza off of the peel and into the oven requires using a fair amount of flour on the peel. That's no big deal if you're only making one pizza, but we made about 4 in a row and there's no way around the fact that some flour is going to burn on the pizza stone. This means you're going to get smoke and again, your exhaust fan better be up to the task or your whole kitchen will get real hazy real quick. Haven't tried using this on the grill, but that seems like a great way to avoid any smoke issues inside. Look forward to using this again and trying it with some non-pizza foods. Could be a dead simple way to heat up all kinds of things.

    GREAT PIZZA BOX

I absolutely love this pizza box! We made homemade pizzas that came out so so good. We all loved them. They cooked so fast too! Once that oven box heats up, its so fast! Just remember to rotate the pizza around because its hotter in the back of the box so one side doesnt come out more crispier than the other sides. We tried the pizza recipe that the instructions had and the pork chops and they were both soo soo good. I have never made homemade bread or crust so I didnt know that kneading the bread by hand was much better than a hand mixer. It says use a stand mixer (which I dont own) so that maybe better, but if you have a hand mixer without the proper bread kneading attachment, it won't work. Your better off kneading by hand. The pork chops were a hit and super delicious. I cant wait to try more meats and veggies with this cooker and making more pizza's! It really is pretty awesome.

The pieces were well packaged upon opening the box. The initial setup took a little longer than expected, only because of second-guessing myself. Some of the images in the instructions weren't clear, but after assembling the pizza oven I realized it wasn't that complicated. All in all, I'd say it was about a 15-20 minute process due over analyzing. Pros: Cooks a fast pizza in about 4-5 minutes Delicious stone pizza Stone pieces more durable than expected Works simply by placing over a gas range Cons: Gives off a quite a bit of heat Will take some getting use to Clean up process It's big, so finding storage might be tough Thoughts: We purchased already made dough from the grocery store and the ingredients used were: mushrooms, olives and pepperoni. In total, we spent about $15 and got two generous size pizzas and leftovers. We made two delicious pizzas in about 8-10 total minutes. One of the pizzas was thicker, so I cooked it an extra 10 seconds on each rotation. There is a slight learning curve, but you quickly realize what will and won't work. I found that adding a small amount of flour to the pizza peel and inside will keep the pizza from sticking. This made rotating the pizza a lot easier as the dough didn't stick. Please know that it gives off a lot of heat, so make sure the fan is on and have good ventilation. Final Take: I'm definitely pleased with the outcome of the pizza. This is surely a crowd pleaser and I know guests will be just as impressed with the speed and quality it delivers.
