Customers are saying

Customers admire the H2D AMS Combo 3D Printer for its precise print quality and flawless overall performance. The large build volume adds to its versatility, and users are pleased with its surprisingly quiet operation. However, some customers have noted a limitation in the nozzle system, as it does not allow for the simultaneous use of different size nozzles.

Bamb Lab H2c does what it's made for, little waste. Saving a lot of money on filaments.

My printer arrived fine but then after two days of return period being over i noticed a shipping damage( bent printer front lip which if i never get to move the printer itself i would never notice as it does not effect printing performance but it does not let the door seal properly leading to more smell than it should) So i contacted support explained the situation and they told me to go through warranty with manufacture which i thought was weird, already not trying to own up to the mistake(i know my fault was not inspecting the printer upon arrival but the damage was not easily noticeable) like i know per policy is like 14 days but if i pay for membership the return period is like 60 days so it seems like they only will own up to their mistake only if i spend money with them which is silly At the moment i am being toss around bambu support and best buy support even though this is more best buy fault using bad courier So my take is If microcenter has one near you go for them Or just take the shipping charge from bambu I am done with buying high value item from best buy Basic member buying 1.5k item gets treated lower than plus member buying 60 dollar item so that is saying something about best buy's competency

Amazing printer with filament dryer on the ams. Took forever to arrive, the box arrived dinged (but all good with items inside), support was bad when I contacted them about wrong pickup dates at store.

This is not an entry level printer and i think needs slightly above entry level knowledge. I love this piece of equipment. Bambu truly has an excellent and user friendly line up.

After extensive research into 3D printers, I ultimately chose Bambu Lab because of their strong reputation for quality and innovation. Wanting to future-proof my setup, I skipped the smaller models and went straight for the H2D, a significant investment at around $2,500. I figured if I was going to do this, I was going to do it right. The printer arrived and I stored it safely in my basement until I had time to unbox and set it up, about 16 days later. After carefully unpacking it (which took about an hour), I powered it on and began the initial calibration. That’s when I hit a wall. The printer threw a Z-axis obstruction error right out of the gate. On closer inspection, I found the Z-axis bar completely dislodged from the pocket it’s supposed to sit in. This wasn’t a calibration issue, it was a mechanical failure, straight out of the box. To make matters worse, Best Buy's return window is only 14 days, so even though the printer had clearly arrived defective, I was outside of the return policy by just two days. I opened a support ticket with Bambu Lab, and I haven't received a response, other than the automated one. So now I’m stuck with a $2,500 machine that doesn’t function, can’t be returned, and so far, can’t be repaired either. This experience has left me extremely disappointed, not just in the product, but in the lack of post-purchase support for what is supposed to be a premium brand.

    H2S Combo Printer!

I’ve been using the H2S AMS Combo for a bit now, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best 3D printers I’ve owned. The print quality right out of the box was impressive — clean layers, great detail, and very consistent results. Setup was straightforward, and I was printing my first project much faster than I expected. The AMS system is a huge upgrade if you like doing multi-color or multi-material prints. Switching filaments is smooth and it makes complex projects way easier to manage. The larger build volume is also a big plus since I don’t have to split bigger models into multiple pieces anymore. It runs quieter than I thought it would for a printer this size, and overall it feels solid and well-built. Like any 3D printer, you may have to dial in settings depending on the filament, but once it’s tuned, it performs extremely well. If you’re serious about 3D printing and want something fast, reliable, and capable of larger or multi-color projects, this is absolutely worth it. I’d buy it again without hesitation.

    An EXCEPTIONAL 3-D Printer

This printer met and exceeded all my expectations. I have about 5 years experience with 3-D printers/printing. I've experienced a lot of the pains and frustrations that come with that journey, and can deter most from continuing with 3-D printing. I've owned several printers in the past and they had their pros and cons. I was hesitant to purchase this for several reasons (mainly cost, but also concerns of being locked into a closed ecosystem). I studied several competitors, but eventually settled on this one. That was the best decision I ever made. I have owned this now for a little over a month and have over 400 hours on the machine. I have not experienced a single failed print. I have not had to tune the filaments or do any adjusting to settings. Every filament I have thrown at this (polymaker, bambu, elegoo, and generic brands) worked beautifully off the default profiles with no adjusting. The only issues with prints that I did experience, were completely my fault by ignoring warnings that it gave me. And even then they did not fail, they just had a lower quality than if I had listened to the warnings. The fit and finish on this machine is top notch. From the very beginning with even the well thought out packaging, the unboxing and setup were all a breeze. You can have this up and running in a very short amount of time. The touchscreen interface, the UI and overall experience is in my opinion top of the line. You can clearly see what the machine is doing, where the filament is going/coming from, the colors being used, the metrics of the chamber and nozzles. The remote monitoring from the app is great, and even slicing from the app is a game changer. You do not even have to slice files on your pc when using models from their proprietary repository (makerworld). Just choose you're linked printer via wi-fi, choose the model and hit print. If any one out there is unsure about this printer, don't hesitate. The performance, quality of the prints and overall experience are as advertised. Yes, it is an expensive piece of machinery, but in my opinion it warrants the cost.

    Another Great Bambu Product

Fantastic printer. I returned a recently purchased X1C that was great too, but I just needed a bigger build plate so I traded up. This one seems to be just as capable as a workhorse as the X1C. Although it's bigger, it's quieter and maybe a tad quicker. Bambu makes great machines and software but I've heard horror stories about customer service so it was a no brainer to purchase from Best Buy using my total rewards membership. Easy returns, excellent customer service, and local store for geek squad support. I really hope that they consider stocking Bambu products in store.

The Bambu Lab H2S 3D printer exceeds expectations in design, build quality, and print quality. The straightforward setup process and intuitive interface allow for quick printing. The H2S delivers smooth, precise layers with exceptional consistency, even on complex geometries. Its high-speed printing capabilities don’t compromise accuracy, and minimal post-processing is needed. The dual extrusion system enables multi-material prints and dissolvable supports, unlocking creativity. The printer’s reliability is evident in its long prints lasting over 24 hours without issues. The auto-leveling bed and filament sensors ensure successful prints. The low noise levels make it comfortable to run in a home office or workshop. Amazing 3-D printer! We have a Qidi (which is very good), however, the H2S is hands-down superior. We feel it is much more accurate in printing, it's fast, easy to use, and we are using it just about everyday making toys for our little boy. If you are on the sidelines or thinking about cost, I would recommend this one. It's pretty much future proof. Oh, and this is a good tip- When buying filament, go for the PLA "PLUS". The "PLUS" prints a lot more crisp if that makes any sense.

I purchased this Bambu Lab H2S 3D Printer for a Christmas gift for my family. We never used one before. We were skeptical of getting one and didn’t want a cheap one or one that would give us problems. So we decided to get the more expensive model. My kids have made lots of things with it so far. It’s very easy to set up and use. Was amazed how quiet it is. Would definitely recommend to anyone starting out using a 3D printer. We all love it so far!

If your familiar with Bambu, you know theyre quality machines that simply work, and are incredibly easy to operate, the H2S is more of the same with a larger build volume, it comes with the ams 2 which is quite the upgrade from the original ams, you can now dry filament with it which a huge plus.
