I had previously bought a Bambu A1 mini (no AMS) roughly a year ago. It was only recently that my buddy (who has been 3d printing for roughly a decade) said, "you need to just get it, it just works", which was great advice. It has been sooo much fun and unlike his previous experience of fighting his printers roughly half the time (and only being able to use them for the other half), this thing indeed just works. I hadn't planned on getting the P1S, but when Bambu started their Black Friday sale on 10/28, I saw that the price was $200 off. Was pretty commited to getting it, but when I saw that Best Buy had it for the same price and I would be ABLE TO PICK IT UP THAT AFTERNOON??!? YES PLEASE!! It took a few minutes to set up but nothing crazy. I thought I was doing it wrong, but it ends up I was trying to make it harder than it needed to be. With the AMS, you just stick the filament in the hole 2cm and it DOES THE REST FOR YOU! Seeing it do it's thing the first time, advancing and retracting the filament automatically was like... mind. blown. I really don't want to jinx it, but I have had almost 100% success. The build plate is seemingly SUPER sticky. So far I've printed PLA, PLA Silk, PETG, and most recently ASA. The P1S has yet to falter with anything I've thrown at it. While I was tempted to wait for the TBD released P2S, I am very happy that I didn't. I love this thing and can see many hours of happy creating with it!

The Bambu 3D printer exceeds my expectations! It was delivered before the expected delivery date (which was great) and was communicated thoroughly with me. The printer itself is so easy to use and prints superior quality

Since this wasnt in stock, I picked up an X1C. That was a fantastic printer, but decided to buy the P1S to try it out once it was in stock. Ended up returning the X1C and keeping the P1S. Same preformance, for a cheaper price. This is as plug and play as you can get for a 3D printer. I was also considering a Creality machine and almost pulled the trigger on a K1C, thank god best buy started selling the Bambu Labs series. The AMS is seamless and only makes a slight noise when pulling in filament. As for the printer itself, it can be loud. Not outrageously, but I have it next to my desk setup and my microphone can sometimes pick it ip. Prints come out fantastic. Im looking to upgrade the hot end and extruder to allow dor carbon fiber filaments, essentially turning this into an X1C. The biggest flaws in my opinion are the camera and screen. The camera leaves much to be desired, especially since I had the short experience with the X1C’s 1080p camera. You’d be lucky to get 1-2 fps on the P1S’s camera - yes it is that bad. For simply checking on your prints remotely I would say it is serviceable. But if youre like me and would like to pull up the feed and watch the printer do its thing while at work, its not gonna happen. The screen id say is less egregious. If I didnt try out the X1C’s screen I dont think I would be complaining. Its not awful, just not as streamlined and intuitive as the screens on other models from Bambu. Youre basically going to control the printer with your phone. Im planning on buying the Panda Touch mod and call it a day. Overall this printer is wonderful and it is amazing that best buy is selling them. If you are looking for a future proof 3D printer I would definitely recommend this model. The simple aspect of sending a print and not worrying about it is life changing. No calibration, minimal issues. Only encountered one issue where my print randomly stopped mid way, which was very frustrating. It appears to be the SD card that comes with the printer is not the best quality and it failed. For some reason you need an SD card to print anything. After replacing it has been a wonderful workhorse.

The Bambulab P1S is a fantastic printer, it prints right out of the box. No fuss simple to use and prints flawlessly, dot hesitate as the is the best 3d printer for the money, it’s a workhorse and just keeps on trucking ,

Amazing product!!!! The set was very easy I had watched a few videos before I bought it so that helped but it was pretty easy to figure out. I am 3 weeks in and have printed lots of things.

This is my first foray into the world of 3D printing, so take this review with a grain of salt. The device itself is easy enough to use. By hobby I build firearms and have 20+ years in the professional automotive soace. I am rather technically and mechanically inclined. Backstory complete, that leads me to my biggest gripe about the Bambu Labs P1S AMS: The setup instructions included are absolutely dismal. Not at all written for a person who's never set up one of these devices. And lacking lots of pertinent information. Very much written for and by an engineer, not with the end-user in mind. YouTube videos helped a lot. Once everything was situated and running, the machine itself is relatively straightforward and the Bambu Handi app is very simple to use. As I said, my first time with this technology, so I wasn't looking to spend a fortune, and I wanted the most user-friendly and widely supported device. The sale price with the AMS sealed the deal. Having zero interest for 18 months made buying from Best Buy a no-brainer. Overall a 9/10.

I have had a Creality K1C for awhile now and decided to go with a Bambu Lab P1S for my new addition. I was highly impressed with the packaging and how well everything was placed with intent. The instructions are the most basic of basic, but will get you to the starting point. Doing the benchmark tests and trying out the AMS have been a breeze so far and i have had great outcomes with different PLA's. I would definitely recommend this printer for anyone looking for a good quality, sound printer.

Couldn’t get better for an inexperienced first time user! The packaging was great and so was the setup. I had my first print in less than 1hr of unboxing.

If you want the easiest setup and perfect prints. Then this is the budget printer for you. Much easier to setup than an inkjet pc printer. Print quality is incredible and you will be hooked and ready for a second and third printer in no time

I took my time in making this purchase, I knew I wanted to get into 3D printing especially for a small business venture I've been rattling around in my head for a few months now. So I did a lot of research and decided I wanted something with ease to take some frustration away. Enter this Bambu P1S Combo, I knew I could add on the AMS later, but why would I when I can get it together and cheaper together this way? I've done quite a few print jobs with it, even found that it's faster than some other printers out there on it's "normal" speed setting. Quality is great, and love that if there is a simple print task to be done that I can send it straight from the app on my phone. I would highly recommend this printer for anyone that wants to start out, you don't have to fight with setting up pauses and swapping out filaments or anything.

I replaced my old 3D printer with the P1S, and the difference is night and day. This printer solved all the previous problems and hassles, and each print has come out great, effortless and without tons of manual tweaking and calibration. Also impressed with the fine details it's able to print.

Great combo, ease of printing, easy to set up. Love the quality. Super ease to learn, has a learning “university” within the app, that you receive points to use for rewards as you want as you learn.

Being new to the 3D print world decided to get this bamboo lab. At first I was confused but after a couple of hours messing with it. Got the hand of it and was able to print something by the end of the day. It’s great because it comes with the AMS got an adapter to convert it to a 8 color printer. Honestly, love this printed. Would recommend.

The P1S is one of the better printers I own, (currently 8 3d printers) I really like the AMS system, and the quality of prints is beyond what I thought it would do, Resolution for details on prints are really good. This unit was not the one I wanted to get, I wanted to buy the P2S but they were sold out and I wanted a Bambu to complete my current project. I gave it 4 stars because When setting up there are no instructions on how to get the foam padding out from under the build plate, and at first start up it scared the living daylight out of me, when it went through the vibration test. lol wasn't expecting that. Also, When i was printing with it I noticed an error and found that the fan on the hot end wasn't plugged in. Once that was reseated, it has been printing like a champ, I will be looking to get the P2S and H2C to add to my collection. The printer has been running non stop since I got it, and for my project (Life size Allosaurus skull) I have another 600 plus hours of printing on it. That will be the real test.

I've had this for almost 2 weeks now and am loving it! Set up does take a little bit of time but the walk through is super easy to follow and I printed my first piece the same day. I absolutely would recommend this printer to anyone new or seasoned in 3d printing!

I have a decent amount of experience with 3d printing, and it's pretty amazing how much you can do right out the box with this printer. This is far less tedious than my other printer, and even beginners should be able to make high quality prints. It almost seems too easy.

Easy setup (plenty of online tutorials) and started printing on day one. PLA is the best option for beginners and not a bad print yet. Bambu Studios has a great library of files to print

I have really been impressed with this printer so far! It is very “plug and play” but I would suggest watching the unboxing video available on YouTube to help in setting it up quickly. Print quality is very good in everything I have attempted so far.

This 3D printer is user friendly. Best Buy delivered it super fast. After unboxing the printer it was up and running in an hour. There are thousands of prints available at Makers World Bambu printing. They have lots of support. The 3D community is user friendly.

Absolutely amazing. It's been going non stop since i purchased it. The compatible app makes printing super easy. It is one hundred percent user friendly. I had never used a 3d printer before and i had it running in about 20 minutes.
