An entertaining take on an old classic
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.At first glance, the film doesn't seem like much, but it's actually one of the best I've seen this year. With a great cast and stellar acting, Band of Robbers takes Twain's iconic work of literature and turns it into a modern day-flick filled with crime, comedy, and action. While the ending left more to be desired, I would still highly recommend this movie for a refreshing take on a well known classic. Tom and Huck are all grown up, but their days of adventuring are far from over.
