One of my favorite products I have ever gotten. The sound is amazing, they fit great and are so light! I did have some issues getting it to sync to Bluetooth on my pixel 3. I love love love these headphones!

Upon ordering these wireless earbuds I expected them to be very high end given the price. I was slightly disappointed in them.
My first impression of them out of the box was they fell very solid and well built. They have a nice heft to them and the leather case is very sleek and small. I like that it is small because when I compare it to my other wireless buds it seems like they are huge now. They fit perfectly in my ears with out any adjustments.
Setup was not very user friendly. I downloaded the app as the instruction suggest. I went through the setup and it tells you to close the app and connect the buds like normal. OK, so I tried that and they were not automatically detected. Very unusual for wireless headphones or buds as they typically go into pairing mode one you power them on or pull them out of their charging case. Anyways, I finally got them connected and they were ready to use.
The first thing I noticed was a "white noise" hiss on low volume. I notice it immediately and you can even notice it when playing music at a low volume. It is kind of annoying. You have to raise the volume to about a 3 or 4 (in button presses from zero) to have it go away and listen to the music clearly. Some of my headphones do this but most don't. I don't think it is a sign of a high end ear bud.
The sound overall is very good once you are listening and jamming out. I listened to all types of music and played with all of the EQ setting and they do sound very nice. I like listening to music at a higher volume with these compared to most of my other wireless buds. The app lets you change the EQ setting with about 5 default setting and a personalize setting that is actually kind of cool to use. You drag a dot around a big circle to adjust the EQ setting, hard to explain but very cool.
So now the phone call mode. About 50% of the time when I use them to take or make a call the person claims they cannot hear me. It is very frustrating. I have to find my phone, often buried in a pile of papers if I am working from home, and switch off the Bluetooth mode and cut over to my phone for the call. I checked the mic and it is not blocked or anything. It seems to happen about half the time which is unacceptable.
Aside from music I have used these to watch a few movies. They sound excellent for movies as well. You feel immersed in the movie and I feel like you hear it the way it was meant to be heard. I actually liked using them for movies a little more than for listening to music.
Overall, the headphones are very good, I just don't think they rise above Galaxy or Airpods...not even close.

TL;DR: style and sound quality you'd expect from B&O, with an equally svelte-looking case that provides 7 extra charges for your ear buds
initial setup: open box, take out the buds, and plug the USB charger into the case. I would have preferred a USB-C connector, given that's what everyone is moving toward, but I guess the extra space required would have sacrificed some mm on the case. Download the B&O app, and it provides a step by step guide to pair your buds to your iPhone or Android. Very easy
Ear buds: as custom with ear buds these days, multiple sizes provided to match your ear canals. The standard mediums already on the buds worked perfectly for me, but you can easily pull off the tips to swap out sizes. Sound quality was fantastic, and the app provides a few different modes. Sadly, even though there's a "commute" mode, given the current pandemic, working from home, I didn't have the chance to test it out. Within my own home, all the modes sound great
Only con: given the price the buds, I was frankly a little surprised to see that active noise cancellation wasn't available. Even my trusty plantronics wireless buds have ANC, and it does make a difference on flights and commutes. I'm assuming B&O wanted to preserve weight to improve comfort, but for the price point they're commanding, still seems like a big miss. Again, not having been on a commute yet, I wasn't able to test whether just a physical seal with the ear buds would provide enough shielding during a ride
Overall, excellent sound quality in a controlled setting with a nice case that holds several extra charges.

Excellent bluetooth 5.1 headphones!

Out of the gate - the long and short of it is these are excellent headphones with only one small complaint (while still earning a full 5 stars) - the charging cable!
They are Bluetooth 5.1 which is the newest version available. I haven't found a way to independantly pair each headphone, which I thought (and could be wrong) was a feature of BT5.1.
The fit is perfect! They go in and they stay in without any discomfort or wiggle. I don't have to keep reaching up and fiddling with them for them to stay in place.
They are advertised to get 35 hours of play. To achieve this, you place them back into the case when you are done and they charge from a battery that is built into the case. I typically work 8 hours a day during this quarrantine and listen to music using them and also talk on the phone pretty much the whole day. I was able to get 35 hours out of them without a problem, in fact, almost 35 hours dead on! The case has a small micro-usb cable that you plug into your PC or other USB power source, but .... this is my only knock on these headphones - that wire is yet another cord to get lost. I have an inexpensive pair of wireless headphones (which are significantly less full-featured!) that have a similar charging system but that cable is permenantly attached to the case and hides away when you don't need it. I really wished B&O had done something similar here.
They have touch gestures to achieve different tasks for usage, but for the life of me I can't seem to remember them from one day to the next so I had to keep a cheat sheet in my pocket all week, which I don't have in front of me at the moment, but that having been said, if you can remember them, they work, work well and are easy to do!
Call quality - WOW - I tested being both on the end where the headphones were and called my wife while she was wearing them so I could hear both ends of the call. VERY crisp and clear! It did a great job of filtering out background noise and pulling my wife's voice out of the noise as well as when I had them in my ears when taking a call the caller sounded as if they were in the room with me. NICE JOB there!
The highs and lows aren't quite where I expected them to be - that having been said though it wasn't disappointing! Clean is the best way I can put it, not overwhelming but by no stretch of the word was the sound "Flat".
I have no reservations about recommending these headphones to someone who wants a pair that's on the leading edge of technology and wants to sound good !

If you want the best, the Bang & Olufsen Beoplay E8 True Wireless In-Ear Headphones are it. Seriously. I've owned a number of different earbuds from various manufacturers, and for sound quality and features, nothing beats these.
Bass is excellent without being overdone, and the sound is super clear and sharp. No muddiness like most of the earbuds I've used. Just crystal clear sound. And if you don't like the sound out-of-the-box, you can change it to your taste using the B&O app.
Though not unique to the Beoplay E8s, I love the touch commands. And if you need to be able to hear the outside world (runners, for example), just tap the left earpiece and enter "Transparency Mode", which allows outside sound in. By way, phone call quality is excellent. Those I talked to said they couldn't tell the difference between the earbuds and the handset mic.
Another great feature is the wireless charging case. Just put the case on a wireless charger (not included) and don't worry about wires.
Playtime is excellent and should be pretty close to B&O's claimed 7 hours. I've used them for 6 hours without issue. The case provides 4 additional charges for a total of 35 hours of use.
I honestly have just 1 complaint. Noise cancelling...or the lack of it. I would like to think at this price point it could have been included, but I guess there could have been engineering challenges involved.
Now, for the price. Quality doesn't come cheap. The Beoplay E8's are no exception. If you are a discerning consumer and want the best, and price is no object, get these. They are amazing.

To start things off there is an app for that, just like there is everything else. The app helps you to get set up with the way you like to listen as well as Bluetooth pairing. Furthermore this is for a true audiophile because you have perfect highs, great mids and enough lows to make you think that you're wearing Beats(after Apple purchased Beats). For the price point these earphones are everything. You can't go wrong and I'm going to buy some more just so I can have some everywhere I go.

The Quick Start Guide could have been more consumer friendly and not so cumbersome with all languages for each step-in the setup. The excellent customer support made up for the Guide's shortcomings. Once setup and some minor tweaks, the earbuds performed well with a clean crisp sound. The key to these earbuds is proper fit and switching from the silicon tips to the Comply Sport foam tips. This enhanced the sound measurably.
The App provides for a number of modes which tailors the sound to different listening conditions as well as tone adjustments. The Bluetooth 5.1 version is a plus.
