B&O PLAY by Bang & Olufsen - Beoplay H9 Wireless Over-the-Ear Noise Canceling Headphones
Included- 1 pr of headphones, travel bag, instruction manual, mini-jack cable, and USB cable.
All I have to say is "WOW!" These headphones are amazing! You will not regret buying these. These were super simple to set up. I turned the headphones on, switched the button to bluetooth to pair it and then downloaded the free Beoplay app to enhance my headphones but is not required.
The headphones are extremely comfortable and fit well. They are lightweight, made from genuine leather and anodized aluminum. The ear cups don't bother me at all. The controls are located on the right ear cup. With a simple touch or movement, you can play or pause, raise or lower the volume, skip to the next or previous song, answer or end a call or even redial the last number and turn the noise cancelling on or off. Sometimes I don't get the controls to do exactly what I want, but I'm sure over time there will be less and less mistakes with practice.
This is my first pair of noise cancelling headphones so I don't have anything to compare them to, but I'm very impressed. There is some outside background noise when there is a pause in between songs or if the volume is pretty low but listening to the music is very enjoyable. You feel totally immersed in the music. The sound quality is amazing. My family was laughing at me earlier and teasing me that I'm like a teenager, because they were talking to me while I had these on and I never heard them. Right now my husband has the Monday night football game on nice and loud and I don't hear a thing except for my music. I love it!
The Bang & Olufsen headphones deliver premium sound, luxurious details and comfort. I'm very impressed with the headphones and highly recommend them.

These headphones exude quality the first time you lay your eyes on them. And they don't disappoint when you listen.
They are so light and comfortable. The surrounds fit nicely over the ears, but do not effect long term comfort. And the seal enables excellent bass performance.
The sound, to me, was precise and detailed. I listened first through the available corded connection, even though these phones have a bluetooth radio. i wanted to have a frame of reference to evaluate the quality of the bluetooth sound.
Bluetooth pairing was easily accomplished with both a laptop and my Motorola android phone. The sound was excellent overall, although I think the corded sound produced the best quality.
You can pause, play and operate volume by using touch gestures on the side of the phones. It worked quite well.
The noise reduction can be turned on or off with a gesture, the switch on the side of the phone, or with the B&O android app. I have not had an opportunity to test it in a noisy enough environment to gauge it's effectiveness. I value these phones for their sound, appearance, comfort and construction quality over noise reduction.
The phones come with a velvet carrying bag which is shown in the picture. Added bonus: these phones have a removable battery which allows replacement when it wears out. Charging is done through a usb cable.
I love the sound, the feel, comfort and quality of these headphones. I have worn them for hours, just to enjoy the music. They are worth every penny of your investment, and if your experience is like mine, it will be a rewarding one.

The BeoPlay H9 headphones by Bang & Olufsen have the best sound quality of any headphones I've ever used. I have found it difficult in the past to find headphones that deliver deep bass, crisp treble and clear midtones all in one package, but these do the job perfectly. This brand is renowned for their sound quality and they kept the tradition alive with the H9's.
They weigh in at a light 10 ounces and use premium materials including leather and aluminum. The ear cups fit my ears perfectly without creating an uncomfortable suction feeling. The active noise cancelling can be enabled or disabled depending on your preference.
There are slick touch controls on the outside of the right ear cup. By tapping or swiping in different directions, you can control most tasks. You can also download the BeoPlay app on ios or android and use your phone to control the music. As cool as the touch controls on the headphones are, my preference is to use the app on my phone if I have it with me.
These can be used wired with included headphone jack or wireless via Bluetooth connection. Mine synced right away with my phone and came charged right out of the box for immediate playability. They come with a cloth pouch for storage.
I found myself completely immersed in the music while wearing these headphones; such an enjoyable experience that I haven't had with headphones in a while. I listen to everything from rap to classical and they all sound terrific.
One final note: if you look at the headphones from the side, they look like a 45 record on a turntable. Such a nice aesthetic touch.

I was first thinking of what can possibly make these over-ear headphones worth the price tag? The answer is everything. These are truly premium headphones so I will say after having these I don’t think it will be easy to top these B&O Play headphones.
Detail:
You can see, and feel the craftsmanship when it comes to detail. I put them over my ear and they feel and look amazing. They are leather, aluminum lightweight material so you can wear them for a very long time.
Sound:
The sound compliments these luxurious looking headphones. This makes me want to go back and listen to my favorite musics to experience the true sound that the musicians intended for fans to hear. Take out all the background noise because they are noise cancelling.
Features:
These B&O Play headphones are wireless so you are not attached to any cord and can do just about anything comfortable wireless with all the controls at your finger tips.
The battery life is great for about 14 hours but I’m sure you can get more depending on how you use it.
I’m happy about these headphones because they are my new favorite and I’m going to use these every chance I get.
You have to get these!!

Lite headset, everything for travel

Very simple to use headset that's lite and great for travel. Noise cancellation is great, over ear design great for bass heavy audiophile, also agreeable with those that enjoy treble. I do like that the battery is swappable which helps with longivty for this unit, battery drain over time. Do recommend you play the headset at Max volume for the first 10 hours to break in the driver's since that will make them sound even better, I believe these headsets will be best serviced 72 hours work in. I regress, touch controls need help for Android, iOS no issues. Android phones with aptX DAC will sound a lot better than iOS. Overall these are recommend headsets.

Wow, good looking headphones with soft leather and touch control. Very comfortable. I downloaded the app to connect and the choices for the sound themes are relaxed, bright, warm and excited. I can appreciate the idea of uncomplicated settings, but this price range headphones are targeted for audiophiles, and the setting is not enough in my opinion.
Setup is super simple and intuitive. Noise cancellation can be activated from the app. If you're a serious audiophile, you might be disappointed with the features. But most mainstream customers will appreciate the clean interface and built quality.

I don't have too many other high-end *noise canceling* headphones to compare these to, however, I have worn my share of quality headphones ranging from commercial earbuds to over-the-ear muffs to studio broadcast headsets. The B&O H9 headphones offer phenomenal depth and range of sound as well as comfort and style.
First thing you notice out of the box is how well built these headphones are. Nothing about the materials are cheap.
Anxious to us them I did not fully charge them, but after about a half an hour of initial charging I had enough power to listen for at least 2 hours. If I had to find a complaint about the power at this point it would be that, unlike some other brands, the headphones do not announce how fully charged they are on startup. They just simply beep to let you know they are on.
The muffs are incredibly soft and comfortable. Pillow soft. The band that goes over your head is not quite as soft. Being bald that bothers me a bit. I am not sure why they didn't make the padding on that part softer--perhaps there are components up there they needed to protect.
The muff itself doubles as a touchpad for controlling the headphones. Draw a circle on the right ear and the volume increases. Draw a circle in the other direction and it decreases. Swipe up to turn on ANC (active noise cancellation), swipe down to turn it off. Tap once in the middle to mute/unmute. Swipe forward/backward to skip songs. There are another set of commands to control the phone when you receive a call. The sound quality for a telephone conversation was surprisingly good, but I only tested it in an office environment. The touch controls are appropriately sensitive and intuitively easy to understand/remember.
As for the overall sound, again, it is nearly brilliant. Because most of what I listen to comes via streaming services, it is hard to tell if any tonal issues are due to compressed music streams or a possible "softening" done by B&O. Nonetheless, all tracks are nicely balanced without any EQ modifications. These headphones can also push the bass better than any other muffs I have ever hears--including those with "bass boost" which often sacrifice mid- and high-range sounds when boosted. The audio did feel a bit mellowed out when I shift gears to heavy metal but I am splitting hairs here. The audio quality is still a 9 out of 10 for almost every genre of music I enjoy. They would be 10 out of 10 if the high end sparkled a bit more but you might be able to tweak that with an EQ.
The active noise canceling is pretty good to. In the office, I can't hear myself type with ANC on. I also tested them in the car (I know, you aren't supposed to wear headphones in the car). With the windows up I was lost in the music and had no clue what was going on around me. I turned on talk radio at a moderate level and voices made it through to the headphones if there was a lull in the music but ambient noise was still canceled out. I cracked the windows enough to get outside noise but not wind. Again the ANC performed well. Turn ANC off and you notice a huge difference.
As for the battery and other tech specs, I have to trust what the site says as I will likely never go 10+ hours without charging. A replaceable battery is a nice bonus:
· Replaceable and rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery
· Capacity 3,7 V, 770 mAh
· Up to 14 hours with Bluetooth and ANC
· Up to 16 hours with Bluetooth
· Up to 21 hours with only ANC
· Charging time 2.5 hours
Notice a charger is not included in the box (seldom headphones offer a charger anymore but for the price you would think they could throw in a cheap charger):
· Audio cable with 3.5 mm jack
· Micro USB cable for charging
· Flight adapter
· Carrying pouch
· Quick Guide
While I did give the headphones 5-stars, I would prefer to knock a half-star off for value. Pricing similar quality brands and it does appear the B&O suggested retail price is higher than others but even at MSRP I don't think you will be disappointed you spent the money. These are very well balanced, quality headphones.

Not as loud as I would like but the sound is amazing. No trouble with the touch controls as many people have complained other than unintentionally pausing music when resting my hands behind my head.

Starting a new job with an open floor plan. Wanted to upgrade from earbuds to over the ear Bluetooth with noise cancelling.
I could have gotten the bose which seems to have perfected noise cancelation. But the Bose felt cheap.
The b&o H9 are an incredibly beautiful art piece. And they sound amazing. The ear cups are soft and you could wear and listen to these all day long if you choose.
The option to replace the battery combined with the elevated quality materials make me believe these will last me a long time.
On an airplane the noise cancelling worked well.
In the office, you can kind of hear background noise, but almost nothing when someone is talking really close by.
I’m yet to recharge the battery.

Beautiful Headphone Set Meets High-Fidelity Sound

This set is absolutely amazing. The clarity in these headphones are 10/10, with deep bass and amazing noise cancellation features. It is a truly immersive experience when you wear these headphones. One thing I noticed about this set is that it doesn't get too loud for the price but that's okay, because it compensates in high-fidelity sound that is UNBEATABLE.

Bought these expecting to get performance equivalent to their looks and build quality. I've always loved B&O for their unique take on audio design and great sound. They look and feel the part. Beautiful design and materials. Overall sound was very good, but not exceptional. My big concern was comfort and noise canceling. On a medium length flight, they became quite uncomfortable and I found myself adjusting them frequently. The round shape just didn't fit my ears well. The noise canceling was not as good as my 9 year old Panasonic headphones which I've taken across the globe many times. I returned them for Sennheiser's new model and have been very happy with better sound, comfort and outstanding noise canceling.
