These are great headphones but I returned them and purchased the Sony wireless headphones instead. They were more functional.

I love everything about these headphones especially the sound quality except the bluetooth. I am given up on the frequent disconnections/pauses in music, the range of bluetooth is too limited. I cant even use the usb in my mac.

Excellent Sound, Top-Shelf Workmanship

These are the best sounding Bluetooth headphones I've heard with ANC off. Transparent and neutral, a very WIDE soundstage and without the ridiculous bass-heavy response of some headphones. With ANC on, the sound stage compresses a bit and the audio quality degrades a little. For me, this is a non-issue, since I only use ANC while traveling on planes & trains...once a month or so. The ANC itself is very good but not in the same class as the Song WH1000XM2 but they are pretty close and the H9i's have superior audio performance to the Sony model. These headphones are unbelievably comfortable on my head. I can wear them for five hours straight and never feel any discomfort. Unfortunately, the same could not be said for the B&W PX, which I tried first. Build quality is superior to everything else I've seen, except for B&W. That company's products are in a similar class to B&O. The thing which finally sold me on these cans is that the battery is user replaceable! If I'm spending this much money on a set of headphones, it should have a user-serviceable battery! I have no idea why other companies don't go the same route...this should be standard fair on all high-end headphones. To sum up, if you want a premium headphones with a wonderfully detailed and more or less flat response, high-quality build materials and plan to not use ANC all the time, you will be extremely happy with the B&O H9is.

The wireless headphone quality is excellent. Easy to connect wirelessly. The sound quality is ok. Have better wireless headphones like Sony or Bose if you’re looking other affordable options.

Compared to other similar headsets, it’s a little heavy (bose QC35, Sony 1000mkii are both lighter) but it feels super high quality.
Sound quality is very good. Even better with ANC engaged.
They are a little heavy but are built like tanks. The ear cups are very soft and comfortable and I appreciate the ability to replace the battery (although extra batteries are NOT cheap).
The app kinda sucks and should only be used to update the firmware really.
Doesn’t come with a case, with is pretty disappointing.
The ANC is definitely good and the microphone (one of the reasons I bought these) is fantastic. I can jump into online meetings and it sounds like I’m using a landline.
Are these things awesome? Yes. Yes they are. But they are 100-150 dollars more expensive than the competition that, in some areas, perform better.

This is my first ever review that i have ever done for any item that ive ever owned and these crappy headphones have annoyed me so much that i wanna fling them over the train tracks and watch the Q train crush it into bits. Yes Yes!! I think of that most of the time. When I get another brand, perhaps I will.

Amazing Sound, Iffy Comfort and NC

The build quality of this pair of headphones is just absolutely amazing. I've gotten couple of complements on how good it looks from people I don't even know.
As for the sound, it sounds amazing. Best pair of headphones I've owned hands down. However, I have some minor qualms with these headphones:
Comfort: They are great for wearing for short periods, however, when wearing for extended period they can be uncomfortable. May be it's because I got big ears, but that has certainly been a sticking point for me.
The other is NC. The NC is pretty great, but if you turn it on, you can definitely hear a little bit of distortion on the highs of the sound. It doesn't really bother me much, but if you are spending 400 bucks on a pair of headphones, it is certainly something to consider. All in all, I love these and would recommend.

I will start with I am not the most experienced audiophile, but I do consider myself to be an enthusiast.
I also had a strange set of criteria when searching for headphones. ANC was a perk and not a requirement, so the fact that Bose and Sony's offerings have better noise cancelling didn't bother me. The H9i's do have good noise cancelling but sometimes they have trouble processing highs out. Definitely not a deal breaker.
What sold me on these headphones was the whole package: premium build, amazing sound quality, up to date feature set, removable battery, passive playback, AND audio over USB for the computer. They are more than just ANC headphones, they do great at a lot of other things as well.
But the number one reason I chose these and stuck with them is the over all quality of the product, the appearance, materials, and feel is unparalleled.
I 100% recommend these, if you aren't looking for the best, no debate ANC headphones, then you have to get the Sony XM3's. But these are the whole package that Bose and Sony can't touch.

I have many bluetooth headphones since I still have to find a set that provides the "best sound".
Out of over 10 pairs of high end, these are the best in unaltered sound quality and have a decent battery and decent surround sound cancelling.

There's this explosive hiss when playing Diana Krall's Like Someone in Love on pretty much every S she sings. This only happens when active noise cancelling is on. This is pretty much a deal breaker for me. Moving on to other things:
While the ear-pads material is comfy, I prefer something that doesn't touch top and bottom part of my earlobes. The design is closer to on-ear rather than over-the-ear.
I love the sound signature. It's not neutral but it has slightly elevated lows and highs. The bass is punchy but controlled. Probably the best I've heard from wireless ANC headphones so far.
ANC works pretty well as far as I can tell.
I'd spend more time but compromised sound and comfort really are the deal breaker for me.
