I had my doubts about the cooling effects of a non-freon refrigerator. Suffice it to say, this little device proved me wrong when to produced 6 cans of soda at around 35F after only a few hours starting at room temperature (about 72F). The price for this and other similar coolers are a bit high and you don't get all of the amenities from other personal refrigerator models but if you want a portable solution for cold drinks at the beach (or in Gotham City) then this will fit your needs nicely.

The only thing bad about this is I didnt get 2 when I had the chance. It keeps my drinks cold and can hold 6 regular cans easilty. It has a divider tray in it but i took it out and stack my cans on their sides. I used the heat option a few time when i was traveling with this and it worked in my car just fine.

We bought this refrigerator to keep cans cold in our bedroom. It does keep them cold. For plastic bottles, the taller 16.9oz, do not fit standing up. I was hoping to fit 4 bottles in there. You need to use the smaller 12oz bottles, it will hold 4 of them. The fan is also a bit loud, need to keep it away from sleeping area.

I wanted a way of keeping drinks cold and available in my room in the house I share with a relative, so that I wouldn't bother them. There are three possibilities: an ice chest, which would require feeding ice every day, a dorm sized refrigerator, with its inherent compressor cycling sounds , and a solid state cooler such as this one. The advantages of a solid state unit are its relatively low cost, as compared to a refrigerator, no ice needed, as with an ice chest, high energy effeciency and the low noise produced by the fan. The disadvantages are that the interior is small, and this type of cooling system is limited to cooling 30-40°F cooler than the ambient room temperature. They are iffy in a car in the Florida summer sun, but in a room kept in the 70°s, it's perfect for me. I don't require my drinks be ice cold. In fact, I prefer them a little bit warmer than that. The size isn't that important, because I only drink one to two cans or bottles a day. I prefer unsweetened ice tea, and by making my own and putting in appropriate sized bottles, kept in the kitchen fridge until needed for stocking, they're pre-cooled. That's important in a solid-state cooler, because it takes quite a while to cool the drink off enough to make it enjoyable if stocked warm. The Batman styling isn't important or objectionable to me, just the operation. This unit seems well-made, and should last a long time. If you have one of these units and it begins to lose its cooling efficiency, suspect dust. They have a block of what appears to be aluminum in them. This block has cooling fins to dissipate the heat, and if they become clogged or coated with dust, your Perrier water (or in my case, tap water) will not be cool. You can possibly blow out the dust with an air gun through the vents, or if your mechanically inclined, and can access them, clean the fins with a brush. Once the fins are clean again, the units usually cool like new. My recommendation is, if you don't have to have ice cold beverages, and only need 1-2 per day this is the thing for you. Just precool whatever you are going to stock it with.

Good for nostalgia or an office desktop gift. I misread an thought it was an actual mini type fridge, but item is made of basic plastic with what appears to be a supped up laptop fan. If you put cold drinks in it, it will however keep cool for your shift. or warm if need be. Definitely not worth th $60 they wanted. I got suckered in for 25$

24 hours a day, right in my living room, the Dark Knight protects the chilled temperature of my beverages! Understand this is not an actual refrigerator, but more of an electric cooler. Put cold things in, keep them cold. And it heats, too... But the cooling works better overall. Has a fan that always runs, so know that, and keep it out of direct sunlight for Max effect!

I did very little research on this mini fridge. The main thing I mostly read was that it was not meant to be used as a fridge but as a cooler. After I got it I thought if I put in water or little cans that it would still be somewhat warm. I was wrong the drinks actually got really cold to my liking. I experimented with the warm switch but not enough to have a final say on it.

Initially used this on a vacation to the Black Hills while in the wilderness. Loved it because I didn't need to drive a half hour into civilization to get ice for a regular cooler! Now I plan on using it at my desk at work since it plugs into both 12 volts and 110 volts!

I bought this on a deal of the day for $25. It is useful for the money. This is a cooler and not a refrigerator. It will keeps drinks chilled, but not ice cold. It will take a little over an hour for a drink to be cold, but it works well for the money.

Product DOES cool your beverages and candies. I have it on my business and it´s been over 2 months of non-stop cooling. I was hesitant at first because of the size, but it´s just too cute to miss it, and functions as advertised.

One of the smallest mini fridges that I have ever seen but it saves me a trip to the kitchen on weekends when I'm being lazy and reading Batman comics!! Plus the price is more than fair!!
