Overall it is a good game but the ending is dumb and the car handles horribly.

Couple of notches down from Fallout 4 and Witcher 3, but still a very enjoyable game. Too much reliance on vehicle travel.

I feel like this series maxed out with Arkham City, but this is still a fun game to play through. Adding the batmobile was supposed to bring a new dynamic to the game, but after a while battling other vehicles gets tedious. Overall a good game though.

The addition of the batmobile made this an even more exciting game. Trying to control the batmobile is another story. The control mechanism wasn't well put together as a result you're not able to properly control the car. Perhaps I hold high standards comparing car gameplay to that of other racing games.

This has the best of everything, puzzle solving, full out fighting, upgrading your batman and vehicle. The game is non stop action and a blast to play. Trying to get 100% of the game will be very challenging compared to the previous titles but well worth it. This is a game you dont want to miss having in your collection!

Mark Hamill hung up his joker voice and then decided to come back for one of the creepiest renditions yet. This game is worth it for him alone. The vehicle mode is meh at best and sometime tedious. But over all a solid game.

It's Batman. Good fighting mechanics. Puzzles to solve. Slightly annoying vehicle combat.... It's Batman.

Fantastic entry in the Arkham series with just a few annoyances. Vehicle combat is a bit shoehorned in towards the end of the game and some missions wear out their welcome a bit before completion. Riddler trophies are still a pain. Having said that, combat is as good as it's ever been, graphics are amazing, and the writing and voice acting is probably my favorite in the series. Absolutely worth playing.

This game is really awesome. No really it definitely is...the only slight drawback is that you almost use the batmobile more than just being batman flying through the city. I guess it's your choice really, but there are a lot of car missions that just get tedious. The tank action is awesome though. Definitely go buy the game!

Definitely an upgrade to the Arkham style from just walking and running and crawling, now you're driving and destroying more often than you're gliding. Riddles are less " riddles" but more drive your car around through obstacles to solve the current challenge. Hence, more of a challenge than a riddle. Overall if your a batman fan, or just looking to complete the story I say give it a shot. But if you don't find a linear story with side missions, then I suggest more of a GTA style or blowing things up, go with Just Cause.

The game seems slightly repetitive and has a very familiar feel to it. However, the refreshing beautiful graphics make it visually appealing enough to hold your attention. The Batmobile is a nice update to the game, but at the same time it can be annoying at time as you are forced to drive the car in various mission you have to complete in the game in order to progress. Overall though, the good outweighs the bad of the game. I'd give it a 9.0 out of 10.

In the pervious games, yes it took a while to travel across the city. But they didn't rely too heavily on it. This one does. Great tip of the hat to several actual comics in the game play. I liked it but didn't love it. Could have been just a bit better

I love it! Joker scenes and dialogue are very funny. Wide variety of combat, weapon and vehicle upgrades. Nice consistent performance is very welcoming. One nitpick it that sometimes the fights in the Batmobile can be too long and it can get boring. But I like driving around in the city with it.

As someone who is moderately familiar with the Batman story, I was very impressed by this game. They do a good job of making what I always thought was a goofy villain, Scarecrow, seem legitimately frightening. The graphics are awesome and the gameplay is very involved. And not to forget, you get to drive the Batmobile, which is pretty much a hybrid of a tank and a rocket car. There are a lot of twists and turns, and I was introduced to parts of the Batman story with which I was unfamiliar. I haven't gotten to the extra content yet, but the main gameplay was worth the money.

Rocksteady takes the helm again in their final installment in the Batman franchise. Batman: Arkham Knight is an excellent action/adventure game that looks gorgeous on PS4. Anyone who played the previous Batman games will feel instantly familiar with this version. The biggest new feature, as well as a stumbling block for the game, is the integration of the Batmobile. The developers tried to rely a bit too much on the stylized car, and what should have been a fun gameplay device turns into a bit of a chore. The Batmobile also has the ability to turn into a tank, which feels rather out of place in the lexicon of Batman vehicles. Overall, Batman: Arkham Knight is a worthy addition to the Batman legacy.

    Don't Buy the Hype

Overall this game does not live up to the hype surrounding it. The story is fairly strong, better than Origins at least, but I take issue with more of the functional aspects. The controls are clunky somehow despite being mostly the same scheme from the previous Arkham titles. The game is not very immersive at all since they removed the on-screen weapon select and have replaced it with a pause-style like page to access instead. And don't get me started on the Batmobile. It's quite evident to me that Rocksteady implemented the Batmobile strictly as fan service and didn't take into account things such as their environment not really being built for driving vehicles. There are several areas where you will drive into structures (bridge foundations are the biggest offender) and rather than being stopped cold, which would admittedly be endlessly frustrating as well, you just drive right through unimpeded. The controls for driving are awful and battle within it are more of a chore than excitement. I found myself traversing the map by gliding much, much more than utilizing the Batmobile. The fun and danger of being spotted by an NPC while creeping on a roof or gliding a little too low are gone, as are the same fun and danger of traversing the map on ground level because operating at ground level will typically mean you're driving the Batmobile. The visuals are very strong and the bosses are masterfully designed. I haven't finished the story just yet but it does seem better put together than Arkham Origins and I do find myself a little more invested than I was with the story in Arkham City. As stated earlier, this game is overhyped in my opinion, likely just for being tied to the Arkham series. I don't see it as one of the better games this year. It's more or less serving as something to pass the time until better games come out.
