Customers are pleased with the smooth and fun gameplay, compelling story, and the impressive Batmobile in Pre-Owned Batman: Arkham Knight. Many also enjoyed the open world, action sequences, and easy-to-learn controls. However, some found the tank battles repetitive and the driving sections challenging. The game's positive aspects, such as the voice acting and numerous side missions, generally outweigh these minor drawbacks for most players.

Arkham Knight is the culmination of Rocksteady's series of Batman simulators over the years. The move to next gen only has done wonders for the game-- the graphics are phenomenal, and you can move through the huge world (5x the size of city/origins at least) without any loading times or stutters. The narrative is incredible and provides perfect closure to the series. The batmobile is a great new addition, however my only slight criticism of the game would be that some sequences become overly reliant on using the batmobile as a mechanic-- I would have preferred it to be a more nuanced and balanced part of Batman's arsenal, like his other gadgets. The brawler system remains the same and as addictive as ever, with new combos and moves that make it more satisfying than it's ever been. I can't recommend this game highly enough to both Batman fans and people new to the series-- this game will be remembered as a landmark title and the perfect conclusion to Rocksteady's trilogy.

This game is a lot of fun. Has great graphics. It is dark, and I would not let my young kids watch or play the game. There is a story line to the game that is interesting. And plenty of challenges that you need to accomplish in order to move forward in the game. My latest challenge is to complete a driving obstacle game within a time limit. It's a somewhat circular tracks that progressive gets more difficult. The good thing is that failure doesn't force you to restart the whole challenge from the beginning.
I noticed the game has in-game purchases available to change the skin of batman's outfit and the batmobile. Some are free and others are for a charge. There are other options available for purchase, but I'm not one willing to spend more money on an already expensive game. I'll finish the game first and then see if it is worth purchasing add-ons. Overall, I'm enjoying the game a lot and glad it doesn't have the problems that the PC version reported has.

Best Batman Game Ever

I own every game in the Arkham series and this is by far the best. Rocksteady does an amazing job at developing a main plot while still incorporating other villains and side plots. The ability to take a break and do side missions and challenges is a bonus. Compared to Arkham City (I pretend that Arkham Origins doesn't exist), the amount of moves and combos are doubled and the upgrades and abilities have tripled. There are only so many things you can do as Batman, so they intuitively added the ability to use your environment to take down enemies, the ability to harness fear against enemies, and taking two regular moves and adding the ability to perform them together, like throwing batarangs while glide kicking towards an enemy.
The graphics are great, the Batmobile is insanely awesome, and I couldn't be happier. I'll probably play this game for thousands of hours (literally) and I haven't even gotten into the DLCs yet.

If you are a fan of the Batman series you will love this game. The story line is very entertaining. It almost feels as though you are really saving Gotham. The batmobile is an excellent addition. It brings a new element to the series that makes it feel completely different.

This game has very good graphics and very intuitive controls. Furthermore, it is easy to immerse yourself in the game without having to recall 20mdifferent control combinations, or 50 various potions to assemble. Easy game to follow along; the bat mobile is outstanding, kudos to creators on this one. Highly recommend.

I'm extremely happy with this game for xbox one. The story is intense and compelling while continuing in the tradition of all the other Arkham games I've played. The only thing I would have liked to see is more refined controls for the bat mobile , it is very difficult to steer through the streets of Gotham I high speeds also the break being the x button is awkward. I would like to be able to lock the battle mode so I don't have to hold the left trigger the whole time while trying to steer and shoot. Other than that I would recommend this game to anyone who likes the other Arkham games and is a solid sequel. I enjoyed the bestbuy launch of the game as well, getting to play 3 hours early was awesome with the midnight release!

Arkham knight has everything fans of the trilogy would want... and some more! The batmobile, despite numerous criticisms, is fantastic in my opinion and I had a blast going through Riddlers convoluted races (I wish there were some more as side quests). Fights are as fluid as ever and more brutal this time around, and enemies are more varied as compared to the previous games. The storyline is mind blowingly awesome to say the least. It is rare to find such a well presented story in video games.
On the downside, despite Gotham's size, I wasn't really motivated to do anything besides the main quest and some pretty good side quests (Most Wanted missions). Rescuing about firefighters over and over again does get tiring after some time.
Bottomline: Do not skip this game whether you are a batman fan or not. You might be missing out on one of the most cinematic gaming experiences of your life.

this game delivers in a huge way, if you are a fan of Arkham Asylum or Arkham City, you must try the new Arkham Knight. This game takes everything you loved about the previous games and wraps it up in a beautiful high definition bow. The action and fights are button mashing fun, while the stealth takes precision and careful consideration of each move made. The new Car/Tank aspect is a fun little distraction, but I wonder if it were really necessary, there were times I felt restricted because I wanted to go to on side of the island but couldn't because the bridges hadn't been opened up yet for the car...so I had to fumble around finding a way to unlock the bridge (which sometimes only happens through story progression.) Definitely worth picking up, however I do wonder if the season pass is actually worth the steep price of $40 on top of the price of the game.

My initial thoughts on this particular Batman game were not positive ones by any means. The PC version of this game still has bugs and other issues that have not been fully resolved as of 09-28-15 and I had played previous entries in the Batman games, but started to get a bit overwhelmed with how big the world is in the second game, Arkham City. This game was available at a fantastic price on 09-26-15, Batman Day, and I couldn't pass it up. While I am still irked at the issues with the game on other platforms, I love this iteration on XB1and the addition of Bat mobile play and customization is amazing. If you are a fan of the Arkham style of combat and enjoy some stealth with a bit of vehicle combat thrown in, I definitely recommend this game, especially if you can get in on an amazing price, like I stumble across.

Having beaten this game twice over, once a regular play through and again in New Game + mode to achieve full 200% I can say with honesty that is the best Arkham Game of the series, in my opinion. As much as I loved the original Arkham Asylum and then Arkham City, this game took the story and game mechanics above and beyond to a level of craft fitting for the Xbox One. What most impressed me was the near seamless integration of plot elements, game tutorials and general ambiance within the game itself. Nothing felt like you were simply progressing through Chapters or levels, but were experiencing the story unfold with a natural flow of rising tension and crushing loss. It always kept me on the edge of my seat and the graphics, sound, etc. blew me away. If you're a Batman Fan, this is a must buy indeed.

There is much to be done in Arkham Knight, whether it would be from the main story and its twists, or the side missions which range from fun to disturbing. Arkham Knight is a great game and a worthy conclusion to the Arkham series.

When I first saw the trailer for this game about 2 years ago I could not wait for it to come out. I was still reeling from the end of the Nolan Batman trilogy and needed a Batman fixed. When this game finally came out and got my copy, WOW!! That was the only word that came out of mouth. From the opening (no spoilers) but let's say you get to push a button to start the cremation of some character. The icing on the cake on this game is the BATMOBILE!! You don't have to find it or get to a special level to have it. You have access to it in the beginning of the game. And in this Open World, the Batmobile is unstoppable, just like the Dark Knight movies. And if you prefer to be on foot as Batman that game is really fun too! So stop reading this and go get the game already!

I was hesitant to get into Arkham Asylum when it came out, but I'm really glad that I did because the series has turned out to be not only one of my favorites but one of the best overall and most memorably gaming experiences I've had. Arkham Knight is a step up from Origins, bringing back the original voice of Batman and plenty of surprises. Stylistically, it's one of the most unique, memorable, and downright impressive games I've ever played. It's a slightly bigger game, and much more detailed because of it, and the first to feature the Batmobile as well. It definitely helps to have played the other games in the series, but likely isn't a complete necessity for enjoying Arkham Knight. Being a fan of both Batman and action games, I cannot recommend this enough.

I got to say, this game has been a wild ride. I was able to finish the main story of the game (I will not spoil it here) but I will say, it's a great conclusion to the Arkham series. The game has the same great fight segments with some new twists. Such as the Batmobile being able to assist you in the middle of a fist fight, and some moments where you have other heroes fighting by your side. The combat is fluid as ever. My ONLY slight gripe with this game has to be the Batmobile. The Batmobile's controls can be a little frustrating at times and its battle segments can get a little repetitive. Overall, this game is a great game. It's visually great to look at and has great gameplay. I highly recommend for those that enjoy the Arkham video game series.

Good Entry to This Series

Arkham Knight is the 4th I believe in this series. Standard game play is the same to other games in this series. The same voice actors are portraying Batman and a surprise character who I don't want to spoil. On this go around you have the entirety of all of Gotham to play in as Scarecrow with a mercenary army led by the mysterious Arkham Knight gets Gotham evacuated. Soon all that is left is Batman, Oracle, and Commissioner Gordon. The biggest edition is the arrival of the Batmobile. I was not the greatest driver in the beginning (as the massive amount of property damage I caused will attest to) but when I got the hang of it I had a blast driving. Many of the Riddler's challenges revolve around using the Batmobile which makes you learn how to handle the car/tank. I love the flying/gliding around the cityscape as well and the fight combos are just as much fun. If you are a fan of the earlier games then you won't be disapointed and if you haven't played any then you can start with this game but it does refer to events in the earlier 2 games (Arkham Asylum and Arkham City) in the storyline so you might be a little confused by that.

If you like the previous Arkham games then you'll love this since they just added more upgrades and combos and of course the batmobile!! Great graphics great story. The game does get slightly repetitive quickly especially if you attempt to do all the side missions and tends to freeze on occasion but other than that...great game
