Great game worthy of Arkham name!

I'm a huge Batman fan and when this game was announced I had doubts about it since Rocksteady was not involved, but I feel WB Games Montreal did a fine job on the single player game. I feel that they did a disservice to fans by not fixing some bugs and glitches some gamers have experienced since the release of this game. Multiplayer was never needed in the Arkham series and this game proved it since you can barely get a match.

Similar game play to the first 2 games, which gives you a ton to do even after the main story mode ends. Several great references that fans of the comics and other Batman lore will enjoy. The multiplayer has been unsuccessful for me so far. I spent 20-30 minutes trying to get into a game without success and after getting into a few lobbies only to be kicked out, I gave up. Thanks to this and a few other extremely difficult trophies, I will not be attempting a platinum on this one. Get it for the single player and for your love of the Batman.

I absolutely enjoyed both of the previous games in the Arkham series. They were groundbreaking entries and challenged gamer's preconceived notions of what a super-hero game should be like. Arkham Origins, however doesn't specifically ADD to the genre. It is an extension of the previous games (literally for Arkham City as half of the map for Origins is what was used in Arkham City). It does delve deeper into the relationship between Batman, Gordon, the Joker, and even Alfred, so it is definitely a story worth playing for. However, the multiplayer was very unstable. I was not able to find any games the times that I tried to log on. The few times I did play, the gameplay was enjoyable, but nothing spectacular. I would recommend this for any fan of the series.
