This is how Batman is suppose to be. Early vintage feel. You will get past the fact its a cartoon because the action and sound quality is pretty good. I use to watch this show on Cartoon Network with my kids when they were little. It is still a great show like I remember. I purchase the entire series because the cost had dropped significantly from $35 to $15.

This is my favorite animated Batman series. DC seems to be pulling all of their content off of streaming services. Get these on DVD before prices go up.

Enjoy watching a classic storyline! Knowing it's a storyline that I can rewatch for myself and have my two kids watch for the first time.

This series was the one that led all of the great DC cartoons back to greatness. Give it a try. You'll definitely not regret it.

Batman animated series is one of the best cartoons ever.

This animated series was my absolute favorite when I was a child. Glad I'm able to have it now to watch whenever I want.

Gotta complete the collection one of my top 2 of all time

well, it was a nice run, but sadly, all good things must come to an end, and, Batman: The Animated Series is no exception. Luckily for the hardcore fans like myself, though, this set features some of the finest episodes from Dini and the gang. There are also some not so great, like "Critters" (written by steve gerber who isn't fit to write ANYTHING), but the good definitely outweighs the bad! Another thing I loved about these last episodes is that they introduced Nightwing into the animated series. Finally, the second greatest hero of all time got his moment in the spotlight! This set mixes serious, heartbreaking episodes like Over The Edge, with side-splitting episodes like Beware The Creeper, neither overpowering the other. Bottom-line: You'd be out of your mind not to pick this up, the bonus content is good and the episodes are totally stellar!

After the first 85 episodes were completed Warned Brothers ordered up some more Batman the animated Series. The Porduction team decided to do character redesigns. This set of episodes includes some crossovers with Superman the Animated seires, and we can see the beginings of the Batman Family, and some of the later Justice League work. Not nearly as crossover heavy though as the later Superman adventures. This is a good mix of Batman episodes. If you want a bunch of Batman action this ifs for you. I also recomend the first 85 episodes heavily.

This is definitely my favorite season of the entire animated series. I love the character design and the backgrounds. The storytelling is pretty creative, with a lot of interesting plots for villains and heroes alike (including the introduction of Tim Drake as Robin and Dick Grayson as Nightwing). They did a great job creating that "Bat-manny" feel for the series, with a combination of timing, acting, and layouts (and plenty of scenes where Batman disappears while someone is talking to him). The first episode (a Christmas episode, believe it or not) was tremendously weak, but I'm glad the rest of the season turned out a lot better. Great stuff!

Woo!!!...Batman!!!...Anyone who loves Batman should get this!!!...Always fun to watch old Batman Cartoons and also lots of great special features!!!...Go get it!!!...
