I haven't had much experience with this just yet and I haven't played too much online (only ranked to 15) but if you have a lot of patience and free time, this game is worth checking out. Some online battles can take quite a long time, well past 20 minutes. Lately, the CoD games have been childish and farfetched. And very unrealistic. Battlefield 1 is the opposite - it has great visuals, and great sounds and gives you a challenge. Albeit, its not like the Bad Company titles (miss those!) but its still great. A lot of people say BF 3 and 4 were better but I don't really agree nor can you really compare it since 3 and 4 were set in more modern times where BF 1 is set during WW1.

Quite the opposite. Battlefield 1 is one of the best shooters I've played. Know your weapons! unlike other shooters where the guns are sort of same-y, you need to know the advantages and disadvantages of your guns. Long range weapons used at close range will get your killed easily. Using a pistol to snipe at medium to long range? haha maybe it works in other games. There is a distance-based sweet spot for every gun. The campaign is pretty decent too. Much better than the campaigns from B4 and B3.

Amazing game. The graphics are the best I've ever seen in a game. The multiplayer is extremely fun. Story mode is phenomenal.

If you've played other Battlefield games before, then you probably think you know what to expect. Well, don't be mistaken! This Battlefield is unlike any other before it! The sense of huge all-out warfare is superbly detailed in this title, and offers plenty of eye-popping moments both in the single player campaign and multiplayer modes. You will be absolutely blown away by the sound and attention to detail in this game! Do yourself a favor and buy this game now! You will not be disappointed.

I love this game! I'm super happy that someone is ditching the whole futuristic theme. I feel like it's burnt out at this point. Maps are fun, the classes are set up nicely and I like playing with all of the classes. On BF4 I pretty much only played the support class, but all of them are fun in this one. There are kinks that keep getting worked out in the updates that are released, which is good. Though it isn't "perfect", it is still a ton of fun to play especially with friends in a party

At the end of the day it's battlefield the same game with a new skin. For those reading this and do not know what I mean I will clarify. Battlefield has been the same good ole paced shooter. But this year battlefield 1 has taken placed during the World War One era. Now this is something that battlefield has taking a big chance with! Different weapons, vehicles, and maps that favor the age that this game is modeled for. Unfortunately I do not think they made any changes but the guns and scenery...I mean there is a lot that can be argued about that but what I want to stress is that the game feels the same as battlefield 4 except it has a different skin Aka era change.

I'm typically not a big fan of these games (battlefield series) but so far I've really enjoyed this one! Shooting feels great, time to kill is better than in the past, and there are a variety of weapons and player options to choose from, meaning you can find your play style. The setting and stories in the campaign are gripping and the graphics (and sound) put you right in the middle of the WW1 battle front. I really enjoy playing this one with friends and would recommend it to anyone.

Battlefield 1 is a great tactical first person shooter that is engaging, fun, and contains great multiplayer and single player. The single player focuses on multiple war stories from different theaters of war. From France to Saudi Arabia the stories are engaging and a lot of fun to play. The multiplayer does not have very strong maps when compared to Battlefield 4, but it is made up for with the setting, the weapons, and the vehicles. It is a game I will be playing for a long time.

I have never played any of the Battlefield games before so I jumped on this one because it looked awesome from the get-go. It is frantic, action-packed and such a beautiful game to play. There are minor glitches here and there but not every game is perfect. You don't have to be the top player with the most skills to level up, just doing the objective nets you major XP. An absolute blast to play with friends as well. Don't forget the DLC coming out for it as well in the future.

I love it. I typically never play online fps but this game has converted me. I am not that good at it yet but I still keep coming back for more and getting better at it too. The graphics and sound are 10/10. The UI is clean, however frustrating and slow to respond, and looks very similar to Battlefront for good and bad. Love the game otherwise. It's exciting, frustrating in a good way and always fun. Great single player campaign as well though it only lasted a shorter15 hours.

This game is amazing. It destroys COD. Can't compare the two. It's on a different level. In the beginning it is very hard you die a lot. But like all games u get used to it and will enjoy it a lot more. Maps are huge with a lot of players playing. It's all out war with a lot of realism with the maps. The maps change by actual actions taken like walls falling, bombs creating holes, etc. the future is very bright for this game. Can't wait to see what they improve on next.

This is an amazing game! Great action, story and graphics a must have if you are a fan of first person shooters!

Great Multiplayer, graphics, sound and setting. Only wish they didnt separate the community with all the DLC.

Battlefield 1 is a great game that shows just how brutal and bloody war really is. Whether it's charging and stabbing you opponent with your bayonett or stealthily creeping behind a general and finishing him off with a shovel..(that's right a shovel) nothing has ever captured the atmosphere of all our conflict like battlefield 1. The graphics are gorgeous. The sound and feel of the weapons are superb and the destruction you can inflict on objects are just amazing. This is a must own for any fps fan.

Everything about this game is amazing. Graphics, story, multiplayer, controls. Highly recommended.

I am a hardcore gamer I'll be up all night online going in. But the past few call of duty have disappointed me. I have been looking for a good old run and gun game. This is it. I love this game. It is surreal the graphics are awesom the game play is great. This game is harder starting off. Call of duty is like an arcade mode style game versus battle field one is more on the realistic side of it. Well as realistic as a game can be of course.

My first introduction to the Battlefield series was with Battlefield 2 Modern Combat for Xbox and Xbox 360, it sure has come a long glorious way from then but still awesome. The WWI time seemed interesting and wondered how it'd be pulled off but they nailed it and even gives you a history lesson along with great gameplay. The multiplayer is incredible and feels great, I play a lot of Call of Duty and didn't find it hard at all to adjust.

Good multiplayer and great graphics. There are a lot of things going on, lots of options for weapons.
