I wanted this game for the primary fact it is a WW1 based game. I see so few of these and Verdun left me wanting. While this is no WW1 simulator I feel the mood and look of the era is passed along nicely. The fact it opens up saying, you will not survive and offers all sorts of WW1 facts really got me hooked in.

Honestly I wasn't expecting the game to be good. I mean, who wants to play a WW1 game? All the weapons are old and clunky, and most of the war was spent in disease filled trenches. But they pulled it off. Im not a big multiplayer gamer, so I usually buy games for the SP experience. They did not let me down with this one.

I'm a big fan of the Battlefield series and I think this game is the best one they've had I a long time. I am typically more of a fan of historical shooters than I am on modern time based ones. Single player featurettes are a great way of showing different places during the war. Multiplayer is fast paced and fun.

Overall this is a good game. Like most new releases it has its bugs and issues, but EA has been doing a good job of trying to address those. The first patch was just released a week or so ago that fixed a bunch of issues and tweaked a few more so its much better now. Great World War 1 weapons and soldiers. Very authentic feeling. Definitely a good pick up if you like Battlefield games.

I can think of no other game in recent years that brutally shows the reasons that we don't fight in the trenches on a mass scale anymore. Thank goodness for tactical missiles and drones. Very good gameplay, hard but no too punishing. Not for kids, dont let your 13 year old play this, it is not for them.

The game looks gorgeous, the game modes are varied and fun, and the throwback to WWI (a sort of reimagining of it, at least) probably makes this one of the more experimental modern day first person shooters. The sense of scale and scope is excellent. Only thing I'd cautiously warn you against -- once the DLC is out, the fragmentation of the community will begin.

Game looks very nice and the storytelling device is unique, but I found the first mission very tedious and frustrating. The campaign is short, 6-8 hours, serves more as an intro to multiplayer, which isn't my thing, so I can't comment on it, but you really only get full value for the game if you play multiplayer. Otherwise would rent for single player campaign.

It's a fun time! Great single player introduces the mechanics. I enjoyed the vignette style, nice to sit down for an evening and play through. Multiplayer is as good as i remember from the battlefield series. More action and less tactical than i expected out of WWI, but still a good time.

This game is truly worth the price. If you're a fan of the previous battlefields you'll feel right at home with this one. Massive maps with 64 people running loose on them. I was surprised how smooth this game runs considering how graphically beautiful it is. Definitely worth a purchase!

Fun game w/ great visuals Fun muiltiplayer a little clunky

I was hoping for a Call of Duty type game, but I find it doesn't flow smoothly. It's hard to spot the enemies.

Got this game because I had just built a new desktop and needed to expand my collection. Didn't expect it to completely consume my life, 11/10 would do again. Campaign story line was so well done I was crying at some points. Absolute masterpiece.

I've been waiting for someone to go back and cover WW1/WW2 again and it finally is here. I typically do not like Battlefield games, but this one has me playing a LOT.

Finally someone brought World War 1 Gaming to life it is so much better than any story have any Call of Duty besides maybe their own World War 2 games from way back I highly recommend this to anyone who loves history and the genre

This is a great game to play on PC. Only negative is that I play against opponents who purchased upgrade kits (that unlock advanced weapons) while I have to beat several levels to get same equipment. Game is fun to play.

On PC, the graphics looks stunning and so immersive. The gameplay is fast and not expected when you think of the world war 1 setting. definitely recommend and the fun factor is multiplied when you have a group to play with.

This is such a beautiful looking game. The detail is incredible. The sound is amazing as well. Dice games always look and sound great! I've played every Battlefield game, except for 2142, and have enjoyed each and everyone of them. If you like first person shooters, do not pass this one up. This game is a blast to play and will continue to get even better with future updates and maps. There are plenty of Youtube videos showing off this game. Go check them out. This game is thrilling like any other Battlefield game. The fact that is is World War I shooter makes it that much better. Dusted off the old PC when this game was announced. Happy with it and the graphics are incredible.

This game is a bit of a departure from the normal Battlefield formula but overall it is still a very enjoyable game. It's a bit more fast paced/arcadey but it still has enough elements to make it a good successor.

As a Battlefield 4 player, this game lives up to the standard. The story campaign is great and the multiplayer rounds seem to be a bit faster to complete. If you are a FPS fan...you will love this latest BF release.
