Traded COD Ghosts in for BF4 because the multiplayer was terrible and the campaign was just a cut and paste from previous games. BF4 on the other hand is MUCH better. The scale of the maps in unbelievable and playing with 64 people in a lobby is AMAZING!

It is Battlefield, one of the greatest first person shooters out there.

As First Person Shooters go, Battlefield 4 can definitely deliver the familiar goods. I haven't played previous versions of Battlefield, so I can't comment on what's new to the game itself, but I'm well versed in Halo, so I know a thing or two about the genre. I also haven't yet played Multiplayer. I'm working my way through the campaign first to make sure I've got a handle on what the game can do before I submit myself to the slaughter. Now that my cards are on the table, I must say I'm somewhat disappointed in what feels like an unfinished product. Some cutscenes are animated conversations, others are just a simple wide shot of ships on water with voiceover. There is one part where you take a small boat from one ship to another. You just saw earlier that your ship is part of a large fleet, and yet as you steer your boat through the water, those other ships are nowhere to be seen. Little things here and there just seem to point to the fact that this game can only offer you the bare essentials to the experience, and there was no time or budget afforded to fleshing out the world that I know can be delivered in these next-gen consoles. This is a common complaint I have with several of the initial release games that are out, so at least Battlefield isn't alone. Still, so far the campaign has been entertaining. It definitely is telling a compelling story, one that takes several twists and turns, and keeps you in the first-person perspective, so you feel everything that happens to your character (perhaps this is a Battlefield staple, I wouldn't know). There aren't a lot of FPSes out there right now, so this isn't a bad choice, but it's also probably not the best one either.

This game has the best graphics I have seen in a first person shooter. But I feel the developers released it too early. I found so many bugs in the single story line - had to restart the game at some points because the game would not let me play through certain points for no reason The multiplayer also has many bugs. Very frustrating

Really good game, with solid gameplay. It takes a lot of getting used to in the beginning if you haven't played the Battlefield series but once you get the hang of it, you'll learn to love it. The graphics are nice and the controls work fine. Sometimes the server can get glitchy and lag will occur with some rubber-banding, followed by some random disconnects, this doesn't happen as often as before but it can definitely be annoying.

good game, if your a call of duty player it is similar gameplay. all of your extras / weapons on your dashboard are hard to navigate if you are used to cod

This is my number one choice for first person multiplayer shooter game. Huge maps. Tons of weapons and vehicles. 64 players in a match! The graphics are beautiful. The gameplay is almost simulator style. The weapons are very customizable. The game all around is great only problem is the online servers are a little inconsistent. Can lag or get kicked from games. They say they are constantly doing improvement updates and they already have. So it's getting better! Only other small downfall is there is no "split screen" multiplayer option. Great game if that doesn't bother you. Highly recommend

Loving the campaign more than call of duty and I am liking playing live more. It is a bit more realistic and also easier for more inexperienced players.

Great game with superior graphics and sound.... However kind of short

Doesn't play like COD, but once you start and get used to it, you'll definitely consider this a more real war, first person shooter.

i always enjoyed playing BF games. Every year, it gets better and better. I'm looking forward for their new release this "BF hardline".

This game is awesome, see someone camping in a building, just blow the wall up or take the whole building down around them.

Everyone was mad because at first the servers were over loaded, but now this game is incredible! Best game I've ever played!

It has been a while since I played video games, I bought this a little later that the release date and enjoyed the story line and the graphics. The story line seemed okay to me, despite some gamers not liking it.

This game multiplayer is addictive. With 6 DLC's you'll be playing for a while. Premium is needed. Much better than COD.

Got this for my son instead of Call of Duty. He loves the open world play, actual destruction and intensity of the fights. Story is really interesting. Much better than the call of duty franchise.

Battlefield 4 is an awesome addition to the series. The older 360 versions always had a fuzzy look to them when I looked at far off objects (and I was playing on a 1080p high def tv with hdmi connections). I always felt like I was straining my eyes to see the far off things. Battlefield 4 no longer has that problem and it is so crisp on these next gen consoles. I love the game and 64 person multiplayer is also so hectic and fun! Definitely worth every penny.

Don't know much about the game but my son plays it day and night online w friends so must be pretty good!
