This is a good game, I have poured two to three hours into it and it plays well. Just seems incomplete, for example, one mission you will have to restart because a specific door isn’t always open that should be. It’s a bit frustrating. Other parts of the game you can’t access yet until later on. I would still recommend it, good story line and good online play.

Bought this game for the campaign play not the online play. True to battlefield style. Fun to play despite the glitches. Froze on loading and locked in between saving a few places but otherwise ok. Campaign isn’t very long or too detailed... I feel not as much goes into these games as COD but if you like first person war based this is a fun one to play.

Gameplay is quite enjoyable yet can feel repetitive like most games in this genre. Not worth a preorder per say, but def a game to own.

This is an incomplete review because the game is not yet fully released with it all of the game modes and DLC. However, for the price I paid— $30 it’s well worth it! Compared to other military shooters, BF 5 is definitely higher quality in presentation, graphics, sound, and using classes for success in specific game modes. It’s historical inconsistency and lack of a full campaign are weak points but it doesn’t take away from the best multiplayer in the industry. Let me know when another game seamlessly handles 64 players playing simultaneously on a console. I’ll wait. I also dig the inclusive aspect to this game. This game is a gem on
Xbox one X.

The game feels very similar to BF1 and that’s fine considering BF1 is a great game. Single player is fun, having the different perspectives of the war and multiplayer is addicting

Battlefield is as real as it gets and battlefield 5 brings you back to ww2. This is a very realistic feel and action packed shooter. Call of duty is no longer the king of shooters. This control are enhanced for a better overall play and the graphics are sharp and crisp. It brings you back to battlefield 2 where the gameplay was fun.

Good solid game with a single player campaign and multiplayer. Gives you enough content to be worth the money. Gameplay is solid and graphics are amazing and jaw dropping on an xbox one x.
Two major negatives for me are in multiplayer, medic class only has submachine guns, hate that and dice please fix that. And also you used to be able to mark enemy players by pressing a button. Now that mark button doesnt mark people it Mark's environments so you basically mark the area where the enemy is in. Kinda ruined a good system in place.

I've enjoyed my time, to this point, with BFV. The TTK change would have lowered my rating, but thankfully they reversed it. Graphics are great on the Xbox One X. The assignments and armory are cumbersome. As usual, the menu/behind-the-scenes stuff changes from game to game. Gameplay is fast due to the quicker time-to-kill (TTK). Working in a squad is helpful as all squadmates can revive now. Health and ammo can be short if you are not near an ammo or health post or have no one to resupply (the "attrition system"). There's still the BF issues at early launch. Problems with vaulting, net code and hitboxes. Hopefully, most will be fixed soon (rumors these are being worked on the for the big January update). Lastly, the battle royale mode isn't coming until March. Get it on sale. It's usually $30 or under. Worth it then but not at $60.

I got Battlefield 1 for free and that made me want to go ahead and purchase this game. It’s fantastic in all aspects. The multiplayer is much more difficult than Call of Duty, which is not a bad thing. It’s just a different FPS which is good. I like to switch between the two. Campaign and multiplayer are fun.

I purchased this game at the request of my brother. It was well worth it. We play together in squads which is fun. The story-line is great and not too easy, so it forces you to really learn and play. The online hasn't been an issue with connectivity at all, smooth and enjoyable. I highly recommend this game

Improvement from BF 1

I like the battlefield series. The latest has is pretty good. It's an improvement from battlefield 1 in terms of customizing weapons and they have now added the ability to change your soldiers look, which is kind of cool. The biggest improvement would be the ability to change your scope on weapons. Still not as many options as the older battlefields but there is only so much you can stretch things before you are no longer in WW II, which is when it takes place. Right now there is a limit to maps and equipment, but I know there will be more and look forward to see what comes next. Also they have added the ability to build fortifications. There also seems to be a bit of a cross over of classes, such as being able to bring squad mates back from death even if you aren't a medic. They took out some annoying things, like having to do tasks in order to earn medals. The graphics are great and I think its over all a fun game.

This feels as tight as a Battlefield game has ever felt at its core. Sure there have been bugs, sure its not as complete as I would have liked but the gaming world is changing. Games as a service and mobile are on top, we need to support the developers that still make the games we love.

Yet again another amazing BF game. The campaign beginning and end was awesome. The rest was a little lacking compared to BF1. I also wish it was a little more historically accurate. But the muliplayer is awesome. It feels like the best part of BF meets the best parts of Call of Duty.

the battlefield franchise revisits ww2 in the best way! The maps, graphics, physics and gameplay are top notch. Now that the pacific section is out this game really shines. If you like vehicles and strategy with your war then this is a must have!
