Bayonetta 2 was exclusive to Nintendo (who funded the game, so rightfully so), however, you didn't get to play it if you didn't own a Wii U...which many did not. Now that's it available on the Switch...which people have actually bought, it's a must-have title. The game is spectacular and joy to play. It also comes with a download code for the original Bayonetta (even if it annoys me that it also isn't physical), so with the 3rd title arriving in the not-to-distant future, this game is a perfect way to get caught up and ready for Bayonetta 3 and just great games in general.

Bayonetta was created by Platinum Games, a group of ex-employes from Capcom. They're responsible for great past games, like the Devil May Cry and Viewtiful Joe series. Bayonetta is another take on the action - beat em-up - genre. The game has a really sexy protagonist who is an overpowered witch. If you like videogames, thy this bundle which comes with Bayonetta 1 and 2. Start with bayo 2 and then go to 1 to play the original plot. Both games can easily deliver 70h of gameplay if you are a completionist. If you just playing for fun, 20h to 25h of amazing gameplay.

The second is even better. This 2 pack is a great deal for those that missed out on the WiiU version. Two genuinely good games for a pretty decent price.

Combat is great and fast paced, story is good, and graphics are top notch for a system like the switch. I definitely recommend

Getting Bayonetta 1 & 2 in a single pack for $60 is a terrific value! If you're into action games, it really doesn't get any better than this.

The game's mechanics are smoother and the mechanics are improved. I feel like this is an improvement over Bayonetta 1. I played that years ago on PS3. The story is great, although you'll sometimes find yourself frustrated by some of the quick time events, depending on your skill level.

2 of the best action games ever made for the price of 1 on Switch! Hard to beat. Smooth frame rate and excellent gameplay and graphics to match!

This is a good set of ports for great games. Fun to have on the go and good game to play before the new Bayonetta hits switch soon!

Fun action packed game produced by Platinum which will leaving you scratching your head from how absurd yet awesome it is. Truly there is nothing akin to Bayonetta's combat, it simply being absurd, over the top, and awesome all at the same time. A game that if played in the room with people who dont understand what your playing will likely creep them out, but is ultimately worth the uncomfortable stares at the dining room table.

This game could feel over the top on right down silly, but if you are looking for none stop action and larger than life look no more.

I have finished the game on my wii U. But I heard that the "new" game will run in 60HZ. Since I love it so much, it is worth, at least to me, to spend extra $60 dollars. The combat/movement is smoother. But the color is a little bit weird on my switch. I need to dig out my wii U to compare the color difference. The game also contains a digital copy of the original Bayonetta. The Bayonetta 3 will be released on switch (this year?). I would recommend this game to anyone who has a switch but has not tried the Bayonetta series.

One of the best action games/series ever made. Non stop chaotic action until the end. Includes the first Bayonetta, which is a plus.

A great example of when sequels are better! Not to say the first one was bad by any means. B1 was amazing and B2 hits it out of the park. The weapons are creative and fun to use. The gameplay is tight even with a base switch controller. One of the few games I find myself replaying. Thing to note that Bayonetta 2 is on the cartridge but Bayonetta 1 is download only. Not a problem as that’s more Bayonetta on the go. Plus!!! The box art is reversible from Bayonetta 2 to Bayonetta 1. Just a fun little thing they did

I really enjoy this game! Which also came with the first bayonetta game, which I never played. I like all the action and different fighting styles. I also like that there can be easy modes that make it a bit easier for me. I'm by no means a crazy good gamer and sometimes some games are too difficult and I find myself giving up. This game is very high action and fast moving, but I feel like I can keep up. If you're not into lots of movie scenes, might not be the best game for you. But I really enjoyed it!

Fun game to pick up and feel like a beast. It is about 6 hours long for the 2nd one. There is an issue with the download code for the 1st one but you can call Nintendo and get it resolved. Apparently they messed up with the distribution and printed the serial number instead.

Bayonetta plays much like a smoother version of Devil May Cry. This contains Bayonetta 1 as a download code you can redeem from the eShop and Bayonetta 2 on the cartridge. If you are looking for a hack and slash, this is your game! Fights are chaotic but the gameplay is always buttery smooth. The game itself has a very effeminate art direction that may turn some people away, but I assure you, that if you are a fan of hack and slash games, this is definitely not one to be looked over.

This game is a lot of fun. This purchase includes Bayonetta 1 in addition to Bayonetta 2. Bayonetta 1 is a much better game with a more easily followed story; the gameplay is very similar between the two games. I'm really impressed with how the developers managed the female lead. Gameplay wise: the main campaign is short, but there is lots of replayability with different difficulty settings, different weapons and items to mix up the battles. The game hinges on replayability, so this central to the game. Trying to get "Perfects" in each level adds to replayability. Bayo 2's story is kinda all over the place, and there's an online mode which isn't very active and I haven't played it much. In Bayo 2 I feel they stripped some of the femininity of Bayo 1 (likely to appeal to a more PG audience). The game has different costumes in addition to weapons that allow players a sense of individuality.

never played it on ps2, but im glad i picked it up for the switch. combat is fun and goofy and the story is super weird.
