Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After suffering with low quality IKEA (I Kant't Even Assemble) furniture never designed with home theater in mind, I have found a company that starts with the idea that function comes first, but design can be a close second. the BDI unit is built rock-solid. No press-fit shelf level adjusters here. It just feels like a well-built piece of furniture, yet has the adjustable capacity to tailor it to the equipment you own. Ventilation is great, yet you really don't see the vents. But once in place, you realize it is also a beautiful piece of furniture, not some junky looking unit that requires that you forego form for function.

High class cabinet and very well made

My wife and I get many compliments on it. The only issue we have with it is that the remote for the cable box must be pointed just right to work. This is because of the slats of course. We are very happy with it.
