It's my opinion the beats solo are more comfortable then the solo 2. If you wear eye glasses, there is less pressure on your ears from the original as opposed to the solo 2. I think the Solo 2 may have slightly better sound, but when wearing for an extending period of time, I'd rather be comfortable. The new colors are sick. I love what Beats did here with the new matte colors!

I recently purchased the Beats by Dr. Dre Solo HD headphones for $99 at Best Buy on a 50% off sale. Shopping experience was excellent, an amazing price for these headphones! I did a lot of research and found many pros & cons online but I believe this newer Non-Monster version is a winner. Bass is tight sounding and not over powering, Mids and Highs are clean and not at all muddy. I am a bass player and love to hear clean, tight accurate bass and I believe that these deliver the goods. I think the design is great and the build quality is top notch. The cable controls work perfectly. I listen for long periods without a problem. I think all the negatives from the past reviews have been corrected. Buy them you will not be disappointed!

I'm on my 3rd pair of these... For one of only times in my life, I bought the Best Buy 3 year warranty (after hearing these weren't that durable) and I'm really happy I did. They seem like the newer versions are getting more durable, so at least there is that. Sound quality is great. Bass is wonderful. I also own a pair of Senneheiser's and the Beats do sound better (and are more comfortable).

Pros: Good headphones for good price and good sound quality. Cons: The quality of the product from an aesthetic view has dropped a bit. It does not look as good as the older ones when Monster was involved. At first glance they look cheaply built compared to the original Beats Solo HD.

Bought these headphones as a gift for my 18 yr old daughter. She was so thrilled and says that its the best quality sound she has ever heard on her audio devices. On top of the great product , i saved a good amount because it was purchased online from Best Buy during black Friday sale. Great headphones!!

My husband's headphones are too big around my ears and feel large on my head -- these not only fit me perfectly, but it seems they are more delicate in appearance, as well (not to say they wouldn't be great for a guy, too -- I just don't like the huge headphones). The sound is also unbelievably great!

Got them for 80$ each and was great buy for the price. The sound quality is great but it has a matte finish versus the gloss finish that they usually come with. That's probably why they could afford to drop the price that low. It is a great product but not worth the full price value they had it at.

Bought these bad boys on Black Friday due to the pricing and I am very satisfied with the look, feel, and great sound of the headphones. Very soft cushions and nice thick Aux cord that is difficult to tangle up. Comes with a carrying pouch. Just wish it was lighter to run with since they seems to flop around when running.

Bought this for our son who is 12 and he loves it! He uses it everyday. The sound quality is excellent. Alot of his friends have them and use them on tournaments. Great for the long car rides or just hanging out. I would recommend these to anyone who loves music and is looking for nice sounding headphones to take anywhere!!

love these headphones this is my third pair. they all have lasted me over a year I just like to change the colors and I have purchased the wireless ones also. I love them because they are loud and I can just tune people out when I am cleaning or working out

This are great On the ear headphones stylish with a low profile design, the have a great variety of colours for each taste, the are more of a bass sound that clear acoustic, the only problem is the retail price is to high for my point of view, but if you can catch them on sale it be worth it

These have great sound quality. They do not "leak" like some others that he has had which means that I can hear his music also. And in Red which is his favorite color I couldn't go wrong for Christmas. I was told I was the best dad ever!!!!!!!

I bought this on black friday and it was the very last one available in the store. This was for my sister as a xmas gift and she loved it. Based on her feedback, she says that the sound quality is great and fits comfortably on her head/ears.

These are Stylish and powerful headphones that deliver excellent audio. These headphones are unashamedly designed for an urban/hip-hop market. I love beats wireless they're comfortable and very sleek design. This product is worth your money.

I have found through trial and error that these Beats are the Best Soung Quality by far at these prices. Beats are the Leader in this market. I have tried other brands and wasted lots of $!!!! The search is over!! BEATS are the Best!!!!!

My son has asked for these headphones for over a year. We finally got them for him for his 13th birthday, and he has not been disappointed! He loves them! They have a great sound, and they've held up nicely against a rough and tumble boy. :)
